If your phone is new(bought less than a week ago.) then please give it one more week because by then the battery will be optimised and the use of the phone is back to 'real-world' scenarios. This is a common problem in week 1 for N9X series phones of nokia.

If your phone is on the other hand more than a week old, then the problem might be with firmware...a software update might help you.

If software update doesnt' help then it would be good idea to call your carrier . Sometimes they send the OTA setting which cause the phone to go into restaring mode for a day or two..due to all the updates..


If its not any one of the above then u might need to send it back and get a new one...

restart the phone if not try formatiing it, if no go, sorry it is time to upgrade the phone

There might be a virus in your phone which will be making its copies, backup your data and restore your phone to factory settings

Remove the battery from the back of the phone body. Then I use the edge of a thumb or finger nail and insert into the small gap between the battery and the main body to the left and below the copper colored sticker on the battery.

Follow the following 4 steps to reset your handset and erases all data.

Enter *#7370#
Press Yes
Enter Lock Code (default 12345)
Press OK

Handset will switch off and restart after reset. This may take a few minutes.

you'd best be off replacing the lcd screen of your phone if the illuminator behind the screen is not working.

turn off bluetooth if its on because bluetooth wastes battery life on any phone.

go to Tools > Settings > Personal > Display > and change the light settings. if its on the highest light setting then that would be a major factor on why your battery is draining quickly.

hold the menu button and check if any applications are still open, close any that you don't need open.

use nokia suite to download a friends files, save them and try uploading them to yours, then update yours again. it may work.

Interesting about each network generating their own key. There's planty of Unlock code/IMEI pairs around on the net on fora dedicated to finding the algorithm. My N70 and N80 unlock codes, both kindly provided by Vodafone for free because they were over a year old were both similar to:

"Further to your communication with Vodafone regarding the unlocking of your Nokia handset, I have set out the following procedure and unlocking code:

1. With the Vodafone sim card inside the handset

2. Key #pw+129022718795152+1# (The p w and + symbols are found by keying the * key twice for the + symbol, three times for ‘p’ and four times for ‘w’)

3. The handset should then display “Sim restriction off” which means it is unlocked

NB. If the handset fails to unlock, then please do not attempt to enter any sequence more than twice, as you will risk permanently blocking your handset.

You need to upgrade the firmware to the latest version using the Nokia PCSuite software http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/nokia-pc-suite I assume you have a PC to do this with? Assuming you do then install the software it'll tell you when to attach the phone, you'll need a USB-Mini USB cable. Then there is an option in the software to update the phone software, takes a while but after that you will have the option to turn on the flip function in Tools-settings-general-personalisation-display-Rotate Screen. I also highly recommend using the backup option on the PCSuite before you do a phone update.

first format your phone with *#7370# and check your phone, problem is same ....
open your mobile and reconnect your camera...
then change camera....
then change camera driver ic your problem will be solve 10000000000000000%

try resetting the phone like this

1) *#7370#, then enter 12345 (This is the default security code unless the user has changed it) and then Yes. The phone then wipes all apps and phonebook contacts on the internal memory.

if problem persists then pls update ur phone software from www.nokia.com select ur region and ur phone from list then download software update application backup ur data if it lets u do it and then download the phone software and update ur phone with latest software everything will be ok i can guide u further if u want me to

i think you can fix this...
first, try to back-up your data (Phone memory )to your memory card or using the pc suite...
press and hold the following keys:
*
1
3
"call button (the green button)"
and finally "Power Button"
wait for ur phone to turn on..

press and hold these keys until you are asked for your pin code or if the "two reaching hands" appears...

please take note that doing this, you will lose all of your phone memory's file as well as installed application...
make sure to back up everything
