finding the algorithm. My N70 and N80 unlock codes, both kindly
provided by Vodafone for free because they were over a year old were
both similar to:
"Further to your communication with Vodafone regarding the unlocking of
your Nokia handset, I have set out the following procedure and
unlocking code:
1. With the Vodafone sim card inside the handset
2. Key #pw+129022718795152+1# (The p w and + symbols are found by
keying the * key twice for the + symbol, three times for ‘p’ and four
times for ‘w’)
3. The handset should then display “Sim restriction off” which means it is unlocked
NB. If the handset fails to unlock, then please do not attempt to enter
any sequence more than twice, as you will risk permanently blocking
your handset.
