HP xw4600 Workstation Linux Installer SATA-SAS PC Desktop Questions & Answers
What type cable do I need to connect the monitor
An out of the box HP xw4600 has a NVIDIA Quadro FX1700 video card which uses a DVI cable. You have to make sure your monitor supports DVI. A WHITE connector is for DVI while a BLUE connector is for VGA. Some monitors have both while many older models only support VGA.

Sir, I lost my installation
You can download the driver from the HP customer care website free of
charge. I should remind you that the driver is a large file and it will
take a long time to download if you have a dial-up connection. Better
use a download accelerator like orbit to speed it up and resume if it
disconnects.
Click here to open the required webpage. this driver is for Win 7 32 bit.
Select show-all and it will display links to the driver. There are
updates which you should also download and install. The installation is
very simple, just download the driver and double click on it to run or
extract it first if it a zip or rar file with 7zip.

How can i install windows98 when i lost my cd
You need windows disk to install win98.
You can buy it from nearest computer shop.
Then insert that disk into cd dvd rom then when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or del or ALT+F2 key to enter in bios then go to boot menu and set first boot device as cd rom then save settings then it will boot with disk follow the procedure. Then type in prompt "setup.exe" after locate windows 98 folder in command prompt.
then follow the procedure then it will repair win98 system files.
But before that when you power up the computer press F5 key 5 to 6 times then enter in safe mode if you are able to enter in safe mode then run scandisk so it will fix and recover errors on harddrive.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

How to down grade hp dv5-1104tu notebook from
Basically you've got to take your XP cd and modify it to work correctly with your laptop.
Have you already tried using just a regular XP cd? If it didn't work it's because your laptop harddrive is SATA and not IDE. The XP cd doesn't come with the correct drivers so when you finish installing XP a blue screen of death will come up and prevent you from loading Windows.
Here's a basic guide on how to do it.
http://maxeasyguide.blogspot.com/2008/04/preparations-for-winxp-installation-cd.htmlIf this sounds complicated then I would suggest sticking with Vista.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Best of luck!
