Why don't you try replacing the coolant temp sensor?

the problem may be a buildup of carbon or fuel varnish deposits in the idle speed control valve (also called the idle air control valve or IAC valve). The cure for this condition is to clean the valve with some aerosol throttle cleaner or engine top cleaner. disconnect the air ductwork from the throttle body. Start the car and run at about 1500 rpms spray the cleaner directly into the throat of the throttle body. Turn off the engine and let sit for a few minutes. Then repeat the process a couple of times. if that does not work, you can remove the IAC and clean it by spraying into the two holes on the underside of the valve. If not, then you need to replace the valve.If that does not work , then check for a code. the throttle position sensor may be the problem. you can have it scanned at an AutoZone or other parts store.

I would sugest you drop by a mecury dealer and ask them about your code. I have done that with my alarm system pulling into the lot with the alarm screaming. they fixed me right up ** cherge

Valve seals if its only on start up generally.. What motor? And how much oil loss per mileage?

cig lighter you can change it easy you have to hold the inner piece with our hand and the piece inside the ashtray you have to turn it conter clock wize with our finger or pliers our dash light if all light were working good and all of a sudden it stop working check the fuses

Timing for the 1.9 is simple. With #1 on compression stroke, just line up the dots on the cam, oil pump, and crank.

If done correctly, the crank sensor should be in line with the 9th tooth from the gap in the crankshaft sprocket. rating please

the best thing would be get our mountaineer scan those mercury and ford they have lot of trouble with the neutral swich, output sensor you can change everything and still have the same problem get it scan start with that wise investment cheers
