You have something else wrong other than the lamp. I would start with te power supply board first. It may be fried.

The fault seems related to the lamp but it will be good to revisit the replacement of the lamp, check the lens cover section , the lamp cover as there are safety micro switches that need to be active to start the lamp. Also the filter must be cleaned. Check the power supply , check the connectors and fuse. If none of these rectify then the fault can be within the power supply or processor board.

HelloYour problem post is very difficult to understand. Please provide some more details about the fault. What do you mean by this "delay problem"? Please explain briefly the fault you experience with your projector. OK.

if you haven't already, try turning it off and then back on after like 30 seconds with the remote?

For the time being at least, I got my projector back on by unplugging the power cord for about 30 seconds then held down the following keys on the projector: Menu, Enter and the Down Arrow and while holding them down, pressed the power key. The projector started up like new with H0000 hrs on the screen like it was a new one. Will be interesting to see how long the bulb lasts! I had been getting a Replace Bulb messge for several weeks before it shut off with two red lights lit. So I tried the above procedure befoer buying a new bulb.

You must reset the lamp timer. Check the manual or sharp website for instruction how to reset the timer after changing the lamp

Lamp ruptured, now it needs cleaning and new lamp.

if it's blinking green, nothing is wrong. it's just cooling. if it's blinking red and the lamp is off, the lamp door is open.

check to see if the filter cover is open and/or the lens cover is open. there are switches in both openings, so see if the switches work (they are usually blue).

chances are the bimetal circuit breaker has tripped because the projector overheated. clean the filters frequently. if you take the top off (6 screws on bottom, 5 in back, but unplug it first), the bimetal is the red button on the front of the lamp housing. push the red button to reset it and put it back together. turn it on and enjoy!

Question edited for clarity. Remove the curl out of the paper by running 6" across the edge of a desk against the curl. With scissors, cut the end 1/2" straight. Then cut a 1/2" off both corners at 45 degrees.
