Projector blurry image
The lens may have been knocked slightly causing the focus ring to be misaligned also may need a full service.
I have a u260W and now it shows white spots all over. what could be wrong and what could be done
DMD or DLP chip has died. Can be replaced by user if you have electronics experience equivalent to building or servicing desktop computers. Just replaced mine this week, actually. Good as new now. The part or chip number is on the chip itself. Once you have that number, you can usually find replacements on eBay for roughly $200. Kinda pricey, but way less than a new unit. I looked at some forums but found no listed DMD chip numbers for your projector:(. Hope this helps!

be more specific. no power? no image? no light? if there is no led lit, power supply problem. if the led is on but the fan doesn't turn on when the power is pressed, either the dc fan is seized or a board level fuse is blown. if the fan won't turn on, usually the light won't either. if the fan is on but not the light, the lamp may be blown. if all is on and no picture, check your inputs.

Sounds like one of those problems only cureable with expert knowledge of for example Chroma feed , Lcd function , lamp luminence, not to be a killjoy but it sounds like this is one for the engineers an estimate should be free and even if you dont have it fixed you'll know whats wrong if you want to do it yourself providing you have adequate training of course ....
