Sony Walkman NWZ-B105F MP3 Player Questions & Answers
Sony Walkman NWZ-B105F MP3 wont connect
I first found that when I plugged my player into my computer it registered it as a MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) device and in turn never showed up as a storage device on my computer. I fixed this by going into my Control Panel -> System Icon -> Hardware Tab -> Device Manager button.
Clicking on the "System Devices" tab should have "Walkman" or MTP device. Right click on it and go to properties, now before doing anything it should say "Location -- ------ Location 0 (Walkman)" if not try unplugging the walkman and see if the MTP device you're looking at is removed from the list, just to make sure it's the right device we're looking for.
If you've confirmed it's the Walkman, click on the "Driver tab" and click on "Update Driver...". Then click on the "Install from a list or a specific location (Advanced)" option and click "Next". Now select the "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install." and click next. It should now bring up 2 driver choices, one being "MTP Device" and the other "USB Mass Storage Device". Select the USB option and select next, it will then install your walkman as a USB storage device and after that's done. It should be a matter of unplugging and plugging the Walkman back in and it should show up on your storage options in "My Computer"

My mp3 player can not start
hi elada2005,check if the new battery is placed in right polarity \-. Often it goes on when you hold on the "play" button for 5 sec. what is that for model?
My sony Mp3 is not working
I tried something and it seemed to work ( though how long it will lst I don't know ).
1. Let the battery go dead
2. Put the player in the USB port
3. Update with latest Flash Driver ( check the format option )
4. When finished, remove from the USB port WITHOUT disabling the port through Windows ( just pull it out )
5. Hold down the play button and keep it held down.
6. Navigate to Settings.
7. Go to Restart option and click ok. You have to be quick here since you have to release the Play button. Once you get to the next level , keep the play button pressed or else it will shut off
8. Once it says restart is complete, press power button to shut it off.
9. If you have enough power, give it a try otherwise plug it back in USB port for about 5 to 10 min to get a charge.
10. Remove from USB port the same way as before.
Driver for sony b105f
You don't need any driver if your PC has windows XP sp2 or later and Windows Media Player 11.
Try to do these steps:
1. Connect the player to the computer.
2. From the computer, select start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - System. "System Properties" is displayed.
3. Select Hardware tab, and open Device manager.
4. Open Universal Serial Bus controllers, and select USB Mass Storage Device or WALKMAN NWZ-XXXXX.
5. Select Action - Update Driver ... from the menu bar. "Welcome to the Hardware Update Wizard" is displayed.
6. A dialog on Windows Update connection will be displayed. Select No, not this time., followed by Next.
7. Select Install from a list or specific location [Advanced], followed by Next for the hardware install method.
8. Select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install., followed by Next for the search and install option.
9. Check Show compatible hardware, and then select MTP Device* in the model list, followed by Next. The device driver is installed.
10. "Completing the Hardware Update Wizard" message is displayed, and confirm "MTP Device" message. Click Finish.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
Thanks.

I can't turn on dont
Try changing the battery. Try charging the battery. Try plugging it into your computer, PC, Mac, desktop, or laptop.
If all else fails, your MP3 player could possibly have water or humidity damage (which are relatively the same thing)
