Samsung YP-T9JQB Digital Media Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Can't get the usb port to accept the mp4 player.
Switch on your Mp4 player and connect it to the usb port. Your computer should produce a message "New Hardware Detected". If you don't get such a message either the lead, the usb port or the Mp4 player is faulty.
If you do get such a message, if your computer can't find and instal the right drivers automatically there will be another message or the Found New Hardware wizard will appear. By following the onscreen instructions your computer should be able to search the internet for suitable drivers.
In any eventuality, when connected the Mp4 player should appear in the My Computer window and if it doesn't it isn't connected.
Delete some files
While looking at mine right now I suggest:
Go to the main menu (on your mp3 player)--then click on files--then go to recorded--then either voice or radio--then click the MENU button on the side--then click delete.
Hope that helped!
My samsung YP-T9J will not
Mine had sort of the same problem. Even if you already did it, press and hold MENU and the Record/a--b buttons simultaneously. If that doesn't work, I suggest you call Samsung Support. The number is on their website:
www.samsung.com
They will either help you or they might let you send it in for free to get it fixed...They did that for my sister's camera.
Can't convert mp4 files to my supposed media player...
As for the episodes you bought on iTunes, I'm not sure how to go about converting those, but your player uses the .mp4 format (according to Samsung) my guess is that iTunes has enabled DRM on those files that is making it impossible to load on another player. (here is a link to some software that supposedly removes DRM
http://undrm.info/remove-DRM-protection/)
As far as ripping DVDs to your mobile device the best application I have found is:
Xilisoft DVD to iPod Converter don't let the name fool you. I use this to rip dvds so I can load them onto my Playstation 3. It is simply a DVD -> .MP4 converter.

If this is about your Google account, click the "Can't access your account?" link on the Google sign-in page.
Samsung yp-u5 4gb connection
Use a toothpick to clean out the lint in the usb connector. If you use the mp3 player a lot without the cap lint will build up and cause misalignment when plugging it in the pc.
