I am not getting sound
try to unplug and replug your speaker it should show you a window what kind of speaker you have. select LINE OUT. then hit OK. you should be able to hear a sound now. if not, try to restart your computer.

Hi,
If you need drivers for audio and ethernet, you can download them from
here. Select download then choose your operating system (WinXP for example), you will see listed the drivers for Audio and LAN.

Hi, sounds like a driver problem, try the Realtrek AC 97 sound driver, its free to download from a google search.

Chasis intruded ,after changing cmos
Either jumper the chassis intrusion header on the motherboard with a striaght jumper(like you'd find on a hard drive), or, easier, somewhere in the bios setup you can set Chassis Intrusion detection or reporting to disable.

You can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. Select your model motherboard, and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Drivers
Go to
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-usand Type the model of *********** board (P5GC-MX/1333) in search box and click on search info button.
Wait for sometime . you will get *********** board number on the right side
Click on the mother board number and wait for sometime. it will ask you to chose your operating system. select operating system and click on search
Now you will see all availabe driver for the chosen operating system.
Click on the + mark near the device of which driver you wanted.You will get all the details like version , release date and download links also.
Chose any downlaod link and you will have to enter securitycode. Then click on download . you can download drivers easily

ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 audio driver installed but giving no sound.
Go to Start - My Computer, right click on it - Properties - Hardware - Device Manager and in there check that the sound device is correctly identified and loaded (no yellow triangles with ? in them). Then go to Start - Control Panel - Sounds and Audio devices and make sure it's correctly configured and the volume icon option is ticked - untick, save and tick it again to be sure.

I have Youtube downloader setup254.exe which i Had
It may be 'held' by your anti-virus program, if you have one - i find that often with McAfee. You may be able to delete it by turning off the anti-virus program and re-booting, then try to delete it.

and if still having the same issue after installing it check if the volume is not set to mute and if still have the same problem might be that the problem is the sound card of your motherboard since the speaker is working on a different pc
