You might have an extremely slow boot up. Try tapping F8 the next time you boot to start up in Safe Mode. If Safe Mode boots up faster then you should try removing some of the Startup items that you find when you run msconfig from the Run box.

Hi you have to remove the 1st memory and you might see the other slot on the underneath.
Please see picture below
after removing teh 1st one check if theres another slot underneath the 1st slot. I checked the user manual and it did show that it has 2 memory slot and most laptop does have 2 slots.

My Laptop is running hot and is becoming sluggish
~ What is the Operating System? PC or MAC?

~ Check fan if its working
~ Use laptop 4 hours max per day
~ If you want to use it beyond 4 hours, have it rested for 15-30 minutes intervals
Why when i switch my hp 6720s on does the battery
It sounds as if the battery is too low to power the unit on.
Firstly insert the battery. When you plug the PSU into the
machine does a charging light turn on? If not then check the fuse in the mains
plug as it may have blown. If the fuse is OK then you may have a defective PSU,
although the motherboard could also be defective. Try a new PSU to determine if
which component is faulty.
Now remove the battery and insert the PSU. Will the machine
turn on or do any power lights illuminate? If power lights illuminate and the
machine will not turn on then I would suggest the motherboard is at fault. If
the machine turns on briefly the turns off before displaying the splash screen
then I would suggest the RAM, CPU or motherboard is at fault.
If the unit works without the battery installed then it is
probably a battery problem, although it is possible the charging circuit n the
motherboard is fried.
Hope this helps,

Power jack pin has broken off. Can I replace the
That depends on how good you are at getting to this motherboard, do yo have the tools to remove the old one without damaging the motherboard. Having a soldering iron is not enough. You need tools to remove Old solder to de-solder the connection without damaging the board. Because these are multilayer boards it's not easy to see all the connections it actually makes. It can be replaced, but I recommend that if you don't have a hot air station that you take it to a shop and have the repair done. Otherwise your may end up with a door stop for a computer. Good Luck
