are you using IE?, we can not guess which of 100 browers you uses. IE is internet explorer. (exploder)
1: solition 1 is clean the BHO off your browers IE.
IE 5,6,7,8,9,10,11, which one,? each has different cures.
the cure is using only new browsers. that block, BHO attacks.
BHO= browser helper objects (pain I call them)
2: solution 2, install free firefox v55 and up.
cured. in 4min work , IE obandoned....

should) then load IE11
do not run XP, its a virus magnet, if you
must run XP (why?)
then add SP3 service pack then upgrade to IE8 now....!
warning many web sites no lonter support BELOW IE9
and IE up do not run on XP period. so... bad news there.

now vista.
vista in the USA is now below .45% (2016 data) and falling like a brick. why use VISTA there is no support on vista.
but what if YOU MUST.
1: load service pack 2 SP2,at microsoft.com
2: then load IE9, next not before, it it fails.
now the browser is way more safe.
but still packed solid in exploits and will not ever be patched or fixed ever again. never use IE at all, (IE11 on W7 up sure)
use firefox. v55 for free.
3: run AVG free on VISTA, they still support it. at least for now.
4: run malwarebytes for free, and scan this PC for malware.
5: use the programs add remove feature in control panel
and remove those nasty programs that took over your BROWSER.
if all this seems hard? (and is)
why not do the HP reset. called

boot the PC, (push power on button) the hammer the F11 key
this is the magic HP recovery key
the pick recover whole OS , what ever came new
the PC is reset back to Day 1.
back up data first..... your data......
next time tell what OS you run.
we cant guess them ever,
some run linux on this PC, (wiser)
