When i turn on my car my amp wont turn on?!
Start with the basics:
- Check the amp's on board fuse.
- Check the in-line fuse for the amp's power supply.
If you have a meter:
- Check the voltage at the +12v connect on the amp's power terminal
- With the system on (or as on as it can be), check for voltage at the 'Remote' connect on the amp's power terminal - Is it +12v? If not,
- Check the ground using the continuity or resistance option
If you have voltage to the +12v connect, try jumping it to the 'Remote' connect. It should light up.
If it doesn't, the problem is in the amp and a bit more difficult to track. Let me know if we need to take this to the next level.
