How to override user password
You can change or remove a user password provided you can login as an administrator.
IF NOT then -
You can remove or change the Windows User oradministrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access todownload the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD.
Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot upthe laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions.
There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CDwhich contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removalprogram.
Click on one of these links todownload HIREN'S BOOTCD :-

BOot 3 beep then nothing?
Flip the unit on it's back, remove the battery, unscrew the RAM slot cover, remove the ram by pushing the two locking pieces away from the sides of the RAM. remove the RAM then re-seat it back into the slot, replace cover and replace the battery, flip unit back and attempt to boot. If you still get the beeps, note weather they are short or long, short-long-long, or short-short-long etc... it maybe a graphics problem and since most graphics cards on toshiba laptops are built onto the board you will have to replace the system board....is it under warranty? if not you maybe looking at an expensive fix.

Windows boot manager message on start up
Sincerely, I am really sorry about this but I gotta tell you that your hard disk has crashed.
All you need do is to consult the hardware vendor and see if the data on the hard disk can be recovered and have your system restored to its factory default settings.
Good luck.

if you mean to replace a screen i advise you have a specialist do it as many things could go wrong and by doing it yourself you have no protection from error, if a techie does it its his A$$ that replaces it if he messes up

Need help with the area around my keyboard.
I'm sorry but there's really not much you can do to fix this and make it look OK. Your best option is to get a replacement cover from Toshiba.
You could try glue and other home resources but your'e risking permanent damage to the hardware below the cover and a really poor looking laptop.
Best of luck

Hi i have a toshiba X205-S9800\r\ni want to
Hi,
If I understood the issue correct you want to upgrade your system. Please start with the following :
1) Add 2 channel RAM or 2x2 gb to improve the memorey capacity.
2) Please add a 500gb hard drive. Beyond this is not comaptible.
3) CPU is the highest you have . Try a new motherboard to allow a CPU of 2.66gigs to be installed.
4) NVidia grpahics card is the best one to be upgraded.
Thanks

X205-SLi1 Speaker Problem
sounds a lot like you have a speaker that's crying for removal and replacement..you could try to use the volume slider, with the left/right balance, and see if it's generic to the system, or just one particular application. sounds like it's happening all the time your computer is on

Toshiba laptop Dual display issue
To switch between screens try pressing the FN key and F5. You should not have to restart you computer. As for the TV error "invalad signal" you might have to change the screen resolution on you computer. You might have to try a few different resolution before you find one your tv accepts.
1.
Open Display Settings by clicking the
Start button
, clicking
Control Panel, clicking
Appearance and Personalization, clicking
Personalization, and then clicking
Display Settings.
2.
Under
Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click
Apply.

X205-S7348 HELP
try updating the video card drivers on toshibas website. there are some games that you will not be able to use a high setting on. this system is a good unit but if you wanted better gaming performance would have recommended the x205-sli5 or sli6. the sli systems have two video cards that work together to give you the best possible performance.
