Hi,

You can try to run a full virus scan in Safe Mode. To access it, you will either press F8, or Del (depends on what key was designed on your computer to access the Advanced Boot Options), after getting the Advanced Boot Options, select Safe Mode an press Enter key.

If your antivirus software cannot detect any virus, it was either not updated or was disabled by the virus. You need to contact your antivirus company to get help with manual virus deletion.

However, if you don't have any antivirus installed I suggest to just wipe everything off from the harddrive and start from factory settings.

You can remove or change the Windows User oradministrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access todownload the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot upthe laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CDwhich contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removalprogram. The crystal eye inbuilt webcam its you to video chat, presentation etc. go to the control panel and click the scanner and camera and select you cam,

Only I know is...ctrl+Alt+Prtsc(print screen)

I suggest you Google search the Internet for this model notebook then you will get a price comparison between the different suppliers.

If you have installed the chipset driver, you could locate the producer of the CD/DVD ROM, and check if there is drivers to download from their homepage.

hi, plz type " ncpa.cpl " in run command, it'll shows the network connections. if the wireless (WI-FI) driver is updated, it'll shows in that screen. just move the cursor to wi-fi connection and right click it. it might have been disabled. if it is disabled plz enable it and switch it on ur WI-FI switch...

Neither of those models reference a setup poster. And I'm not sure which model you need since you reference 2 different models.

maybe the driver is not compatible with your Acer Aspire.
I believe that Acer has its own Video/sound graphic so you might have to go to the Acer website and look under Aspire 42520 and download the driver from there. That will be the right one for your notebook.

The notebook cannot find the Windows operating system on the hard disk. The hard disk may have failed.
First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If this does not work then reboot and go to theBIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn'tdetect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Next - to determine if thehard drive is faulty, remove the hard drive and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a workingcomputer's USB port. If this computer cannot see itas an external hard drive and you cannot open the various folders and files,this confirms the hard drive is faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptopagain.

Contact Acer and let them know that you didnt get one. I have made many calls about problems like this and always seem to get what I need with out paying. Just call be cailm at first and then when they say you have to pay of it just start raising all kinds of cane. It usually works for me. If it dont work I guess you have 2 options buy one or do with out it. Sorry couldnt be more help
