Reset password
BIOS passwords can be reset or removed in two ways:1. using software 2. using hardware.I would first try resetting or removing using software, here are two software apps to reset or retrieve BIOS passwords.!BIOS - is a PC BIOS toolkit offering password removal/decrypt and BIOS settings modification/backup/restore.You can download it here:

http://majorgeeks.com/CmosPwd_d239.htmlYou will need to create a bootable Dos, or Linux or NT cd in order to run them.Good Luck!
A 2year old put a train ticket inside the dvd/cd drive and now its stuck
There are two ways toopen the CD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work.Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject. If this does not work then you can manually open the CD drive tray by -Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drivetray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive traypops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CDdisc. If you continue having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD driveis faulty and needs replacing.
Dell Xps M1330 New motherboard failure.
When you removed or put in the CPU and the Heat Sink did you put a fresh
coat of Thermal Paste on them? If not that is like metal touching
metal and it will short out when you try to boot up. The other
problem might be that either one of your memory chips is bad or one of
the slots on the board that holds the memory is bad.
Maybe your memory is bad or the memory slot is bad.
Remove the Power Cord, Remove the Battery, Remove
the cover that houses the memory on the bottom of the laptop then remove
one of the
memory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer.
If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark
an x on
it with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the next
memory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set it
aside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If
it
boots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it
and put
it into the open memory chip slot and try booting.
New motherboard still no power
Remove the main battery and try again, next sub out the ram one at a time and test, I would sub out the power supply to be sure it is basically the only thing left.
Need BIOS Master password
you can remove this password by removing the bios battery. remove the cap where the ram goes... and you will have very easy access to the board. unplog the cable that goes from the bios battery to the board (make sure the pc is off and main battery is out.) plug back in the cable and boot your pc.
