The same model Lenovo can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your Lenovo, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download the drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Power drain would be a better solution in this case.1.first shut down the comp2.unplug the charger3. remove the batteryand after press and hold the power button for 60 seconds without any charger and the battery.After the 60 seconds replug the battery and the charger and turn the computerif it doesn't resolve go to device manager and go to the last option USB controllers and uninstall all the USB related drivers and after that restarted the computer.

Your system seems needs a codecs. you can try K-LITE Mega codec. this player embedded with extra codec ( this codec need for preview some , missing codec, or any application you have installed and not up date> plays almost any video types.

I believed you are having problem with the Operating System on the laptop itself,. You said you already reinstall it, there are two ways of reinstalling the Operating System on Lenovo, By using One Key Recovery and by using the Recovery Disc. If you are going to use the Recovery Disc, make sure that you boot from the disc itself so it will not ask for any activation key, please follow the steps below.

For One Key Recovery:

1. Turn off the computer.

2. Press the little button near the power button, it usually do have a drawing of an icon that looks like a horse shoe or a headset.

3. There will be a window that will appear which do have three option, One Key Antivirus, One Key Recovery and System Setup. Choose One key Recovery.

4. There will be another window that will appear which do have two option, Restore from initial backup and Restore from user backup,Choose Restore from initial back up

5. It will asked you if you want to continue, Just click on OK or YES.

6. Once done, Reboot the computer.

For Recovery Disc,

1. Insert the disc inside the drive.

2. Turn off the computer then turn it back on and keep on tapping F12

3. There will a window that will appear which do have three options, HDD,ODD/DVD/CD, and NAT, choose ODD/DVD/CD

4. It will asked you to press any key immediately, you will need to press any key immediately so that it will boot from ODD.

5. It will asked you to choose a partition, choose Disc 0 partition 1

6. Reboot computer once done.

Try to reinstall the driver of the camera using the disk that came with the system. You may also try to enable/disable the camera by pressing Fn + Esc key at the same time.

download the 65dt11ww driver from here http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-68014 which is the Vista 32 bit driver for the webcam Double clicked it and it installed itself into C:/drivers/Vista32/camera. I then went to Start, Accessories, Run and clicked on Browse and went to the above camera file where clicked on Setup (the application file not the other ones). Run setup and bingo! one working camera.

Hi.

Try the following:

1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to access the task manager
2. Check the applications that are running and see if there is any other programs which might be using.
3. Close them all and see if webcam works
4. CHeck the processes that are running and see if any is related to the webcam or any program that you think it should not be running or does not belong to the startup programs.

If you have'nt repartition the HD then there is a change you can resotre the compter to Vista. Turn off the computer then press the OKR button which is located beside the power button. This button has a picure of a U-turn arrow sign. After pressing the button, you will go to the one key restoration software. All you need to do is to select restore from initial backup and wait while you system is restoring to vista. If none of this works, then you need to order recovery disk for your computer. You may contact Lenovo at 18774536686 then press option no 3.

This might be a software or a hardware issue.. If the computer gets passed the BIOS screen and then if you have this problem please reinstall the OS.. If its before the BIOS take the RAM out an reinsert it.. If you still face a problem it could be a faulty RAM or motherboard....

Check the F keys or the buttons on your computer with the touchpad icon. it looks like this (the one in red box) but it is found on one of the keys on your keyboard though. If you found it press Fn+the button with the touchpad icon and normally there comes an icon on the lower right side of your monitor that shows whether the touchpad is ENABLED or DISABLED.
