I have one that does the same thing at times. remove the bottom front panel. You will see a black boot that comes down from the tub. Loosen the clamp on top of the boot. You should be able to pinch the boot and feel something hard inside the boot. Pull the boot down from the tub and put your fingers down inside the boot and pull up the coin collector. It may be full of junk, coins ect. Clean it and replace the boot and clamp. This should help you.

Find the pump on the battom. Make sure you get a pan, You will need this to cacht the water. Remove the hoses from the pump. Then you should be able to find the object. You may have to remove the pump. It is held on by two screws.

The pump is clogged with most likely a coin. You need to get access to the pump then remove the hoses.(Make sure you put a pan under the hoses to catch the water) After that you should be able to remove the objects.

It is not a poor design its the way we have gone re washing clothes

Old machines washed hotter and with more additives in the powders.

Try using a good strong mix of soda crystals in hot water , pour that into the wash before you switch it on and do a hot wash without any soap powder

Use old fasioned powders for a couple of weeks and do a hot wash once a month with the soda

The constant cool washes leave body fats from the clothing inside the machine as there is no real heat to melt them and no soda in the washing powder anymore to unstick them from the surfaces .

The rubber around the door tore and the washer leaks bad.where do i find that part.

One possibility is to not leave the clothes in the washer overnight or they will have a little foul smell to them. We have a Samson washer and it does the same thing and it ranks close to the top on Consumer Reports. If this doesn't help have you tried going to Lowe's and ask someone in the appliance department to see if they can help. You may have already done this but call the manufacturer to see if this is a common problem and see if they have a solution. If they're not very helpful or cooperative let them know you will do a little "free" advertising for them in a nice way of course. I hope this helps. The reed switch has been removed from the newer washers of same model. Nothing to do with the switch. Open door and turn the drum. This has happened to me a couple times. If the drum will not turn , try putting a little force on it. Mine acted the same and it was a sock that was stuck. Didn;t know what it was until I removed the boot where the coin trap is . and found a sock hanging down from the tub. stick your fingers up it the tub( with washer unplugged) and check for any material that might be there.

Did you check that the door lock switch is working?

If it's not the door-lock switch, you need a new speed control board.

besides this only way to get smell out is a complete inner and outter tub job but also try leaving both soap dispenser and door open for the air to dry up and vent the washing machine

Do you leave the door open between washes? If not, the innards will stay damp, and you'll get mold.

You might have to replace the doorlock switch assy. N#7 on DRAWING here you also can buy the parts you need

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

The machine does not exist as you have written it. There are two likely reasons The door switch has failed and hasn't passed the self test procedure. or the control board / timer has failed. Try power cycling it. Remove the mains plug for an hour. It is has an On Off button press it for a minute. For a knob, full it and leave two minutes.
