Hi!! i have lenovo netbook
Hi dr_sureshkz,
I see that you want to use the Sim slot for the #g modem on your Lenovo s10-3.
About your question waht software you should use it really depends, you Internet service provider should be the one providing the software to be able to get conencted using the Sim card from your Internet Service Provider, Lenovo can only provide as much to the driver of the 3g modem but not the software to make it run for your intrnet.
try googling about the 3g Connection Manager but I have not used that program yet for such I only saw it in google that it will be compatible with any ISP.
I hope that this helps.
Have nice day,

I have [lenovo 3000 y410]laptop
Welcome to fix ya.
This is happening because the is no driver for bluetooth and audio. To resolve this download the appropriate drivers in
www.consumersupport.lenovo.com
Once you are on the website it would ask for your serial number. The serial number for an ideapad Y410 is located on the bottom of the system. Look for a white sticker then look for the S/N number. The serial numbers for a Y410 usually starts with CBU.
when you have successfully input your serial number it would display the list of drivers for your system. Look for the bluetooth and audio drivers for windows 7. You should find drivers for your touchpad here. If not you can look for the drivers of the touchpad here

Just find a fresh copy of windows in acd. Now put it into the cd drive. Restart your laptop. When the laptop is restarted it will read the cd and will prompt you to "press any key to boot from cd.....". Just press any of the key from keyboard and wait . Now follow the instructions on your screen . When it restarts DO NOT PRESS ANY KEY or booting process will restart again. Just wait and watch . formatting will be completed .

Hi i have ideapad y510
Hi There!
Welcome to FixYa,
First off, if you're trying to restore this computer back to factory defaults, then the system should be turned off before pressing the OKR (One Key Recovery) button. If it fails to work (or nothing happens), then the partition where it originally resides has been corrupted over time.
The only way for you to get this resolved is to obtain a "Recovery CD" specifically for Y510. You can do it by contacting their helpdesk support and ask for the disc to be delivered to you. I have to set your expectations that their usual charge is (usually) close to $50.
I hope this helps and Thank you for using Fixya.
My lenovo Y410 lcd screen
Welcome to FixYa!
It seems that you're having a serious display problem. One way to confirm this issue is for you to go to the BIOS screen of your Y410 and see if the problem would materialize.
Here's how
- Shutdown your computer and disconnect any USB storage devices attached.
- Turn it on and tap on the "F2" key repeatedly until you see a different screen
Once in BIOS, see if the discoloration/blinking issue is present. If it is, then I strongly suggest that you take this laptop to the nearest Lenovo repair center. If it's still in warranty, then the repair can be covered, otherwise, I'm seeing close to $300 for LCD replacement.
Hope this helps and Thank you for using FixYa.
I spilled coffee on side of unit, now it won't
Hi There!
I highly recommend for you to take your Y410 to a near service provider. Liquid spillage incidents on laptops/portable computers are quite very serious as it tends to damage the internal circuitry of your motherboard and other correlated components.
I doubt that this will be covered by your regular warranty unless you have the LenovoCare protection program. Still, if you want to use the same system, then consider this recommendation.
I have to set your expectations though, that "out of warranty" repair rates varies, depending on the extent of damage.
Hope this helps,
Thank you for using FixYa.
