How do i use the self cleaning button?

Hello LaRetta Madsen, thanks for your inquiry!

I see your question is labeled under model GLEFZ384GC. On that model range in order to use self-clean you would need to remove all the racks from the oven. Then you would press "Speed Clean" for a two hour clean or "Clean" for a three hour clean. You would then use the "Up" or "Down" arrows to select the time. After these steps the display should read "Lock" then "CLn" and it would now be in self-cleaning mode. I have included a link for your manual if further assistance is needed. Hope this information is helpful. -Matt Frigidaire Manual Search Results

Frigidaire electric range #GLEFZ384GCA has an F10 signal, and appears to continue heating when set at 170.

Thank you for allowing me to assist you, Friend. Typically error code F10 indicates that your Frigidaire range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps! - Z

Warming drawer will not open

Good Morning Gloria, thank you for your inquiry! I understand the warming drawer will not open on your range. The racks or tracks can become bent or misaligned over time and may interfere with the drawer opening or the latch/strike may possibly be broken. If you have checked the tracks and the door strike/latch, and both appear to be in working order, you may want to connect with a qualified servicer to diagnose the exact problem

Beeping won stop

Good Morning Gemma - Try resetting the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Is the range still beeping? If so, then the unit may possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the EOC (electronic oven control) or a potential wiring failure. An experienced service technician may need to further evaluate this issue and assist with the repairs.

Frigidaire es300 gas range kepps flashing f10 and f13.how to resetand get the clock working

Hello Carol Martin - Typically, error codes F10 and F13 could indicate a variety of issues. The range could possibly have a shorted keypad, runaway temperature (higher than normal temperature), faulty EOC (electronic oven control) or, display wire harness missing/not connected. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

When the oven is turned on about 10 minutes later

The F10 error code indicates a runaway temperature condition. If your oven is overheating, unplug the power cord for a few minutes. When plugged back in if the oven is still overheating, you will need to have the temp sensor & control checked.

How do I turn the volume down or turn off the beep from my Frigidaire Gallery 5.0 cu. ft. Gas Range when the oven reaches its intended temperature?

As copied from the manual. Setting a silent control panel When choosing a function, a beep will be heard each time a pad is pressed. If desired, the control can be programmed for silent operation. Press and hold (start/time) . After 7 seconds, the control will beep once. This will block the controls from sounding when a pad is pressed. To return the sound, press and hold (start/time) again for 7 seconds until the control beeps once NOTE! The OVEN indicator light on the electronic display will turn ON and OFF when using the Bake feature and during preheat. This is normal and indicates that the oven is cycling to maintain the selected baking temperature. When the preheat indicator light turns OFF, your oven is ready.

Frigidaire glass top stove big burner burned out but a new one but the connections are totally different from the old one how do I wire in the new burner please help

Send it back and get the correct one. It can't be the same part number if the connections are different. Your old one may have features that his new one doesn't. The one less wire may just be a shared return, but the stove might be needing individual returns. If it is an updated replacement (the listing sometimes says 'compatible with' or 'replaced by', or 'alternative part'), it should come with a wiring schematic. Please always include full 'make MODEL (what it is)'. Fixya Expert 'Jorgie the Appliance Guy' will have the answer if it is a shared return but he will need the model number. Edit your post and add it. ..

How to I adjust the flame in a Frigidaire gas oven.

No orifice for the oven jet? All work on gas appliances needs to be done by a certified gas technician. Somewhere, normally just behind the knob, there is an adjusting screw (certainly for hobs). The flame must be high enough that it can't blow out. The standard test is the slam the oven door, with your kitchen windows closed and then again with them open. Help in the link, but also the pressure from the tank _at_ the range should be checked. https://www.google.com/search?q=oven+flame+adjustment ..

The oven and broiler elements are not working in my older Frigidaire stove. I suspect a blown fuse.

This is so confusing You say "The oven and broiler elements are not working" Then you say "Everything works except the burners'. so nothing works? No oven/broiler elements and no burners? It make me wonder what the 'everything' is that works? The clock? The oven light? Sounds like the main house breaker has flipped. On my older GE stove from the 1980s there are glass screw in fuses hidden below the controls and above the hobs. You undo the switch bezel for the oven light and the switch bezel for the rotisserie and pull the panel forward exposing 8 fuses. If all yours blew, it would be very strange! Click comment under my answer and also under Vince's and we will get you Fix-Ya.
