Why is my handset not recharging when on the base?

batteries are bad, power adapter is bad or phone is bad. Try moving phone to new base, if it charges you know batteries and phone are good. Try another phone on suspect base if it does not charge the base/power adapter is bad and you need to replace it. If you have only one phone/handset system replace it.

Regetsering kx-tga641 to kx-tgc350

The KX-TGA641 handset is not compatible with the KX-TGC350 base. The KX-TGC350 communicates with the KX-TGDA20 add-on handset. The included handsets are KX-TGCA35 (1 to 4 handsets depending on the model). See the manual here: https://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TGC350/OI/TGC364_PNQX7789XA/TGC364_PNQX7789XA.pdf . You can also check the product page here: https://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/cordless-telephones/KX-TGC35.html?dwvar_KX-TGC35_handsets=1 . The KX-TGA641 handset is compatible with the KX-TG6400 series base. See the manual for this expandable cordless telephone system here: https://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TG6411/OI/TG6411_PNQX1623YA/TG6411_PNQX1623YA.pdf?a_id=54175&session=tg2XbQ_o . You can also find the handset's manual here: https://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TGA641T.html . Additional information for the KX-TG64 series phone system is available from one of those product pages: https://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TG6411T.html . I wish that I had better news for you. In this case, the base is speaking a different language during registration than the KX-TGA641 is expecting. They will never properly communicate. Cindy Wells

I have a 2090 nutone intercom system. The power light is on ,but no sound. Is there any thing I can do to check

Send it in for service. You can't repair or replace electronic components unless you have test equipment and knowledge. Take the cover off and look for bulging or split capacitors or an internal fuse. https://becintegrated.com/intercom-systems/replacement-upgrades/nutone-intercom-repairs/2090-intercom-replacement-parts ..

My phone doesnt ring for incoming calls

It can be confusing and frustrating to miss calls because your iPhone isn't ringing. There isn't a single reason why an iPhone stops ringing - but most of them are pretty easy to fix. Try these steps before concluding that your iPhone is broken and needs an expensive repair. If you're not hearing your iPhone ringing, there are five possible culprits:
  1. A broken speaker
  2. Mute is turned on
  3. Do Not Disturb is turned on
  1. You've blocked the phone number
  2. A problem with your ringtone

Does Your Speaker Work?

The speaker at the bottom of your iPhone is used for every sound your phone makes. Whether that's playing music, watching movies, or hearing the ringtone for incoming calls, the speaker makes it all happen. If you're not hearing calls, your speaker could be broken. Try playing some music or a YouTube video, and make sure to turn up the volume. If you're hearing audio fine, then that's not the problem. But if no sound comes out when it should, and you've got the volume up loud, it could be that you need to repair your iPhone's speaker.

Is Mute On?

It's always good to rule out the simple problems before diving into more complicated ones. In this case, you need to make sure that you haven't silenced your iPhone and forgotten to turn the ringer back on. There are two ways to check this:
  1. Check the mute switch on the side of your iPhone. Make sure that it's turned off (when it's turned on, you'll be able to see an orange line inside the switch).
  1. On your iPhone,go to Settings and tap Sounds (or Sounds & Haptics, depending on your model). Make sure the Ringer and Alerts slider isn't all the way to the left. If it is, move the slider to the right in order to turn up the volume.

Is Do Not Disturb On?

If those aren't the problem, it could be that you've enabled a setting that mutes phone calls: Do Not Disturb. This is a great feature of the iPhone, introduced in iOS 6, that allows you to stop sounds from calls, texts, and notifications when you don't want to be bothered (while you're sleeping or in church, for instance). Do Not Disturb may be great, but it can also be tricky - because you can schedule it, you may forget that it's enabled. To check for Do Not Disturb:
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Do Not Disturb.
  3. Check to see if either the Manual or Scheduled sliders are enabled.
  4. If the Manual is enabled, slide it to Off/white.
  5. If Scheduled is enabled, review the times Do Not Disturb is scheduled to be in use. Did the calls you missed come in during those times? If so, you may want to adjust your Do Not Disturb settings
  6. If you want to keep Do Not Disturb but allow calls from some people to get through no matter what, tap Allow Calls From and select groups of contacts.

Is the Caller Blocked?

If someone tells you they called you, but there's no sign of their call on your iPhone, maybe you've blocked their number. In iOS 7, Apple gave iPhone users the ability to block phone calls, FaceTime calls, and text messages. To see whether the number that someone is trying to call you from is blocked on your phone:
  1. Tap Settings.
  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap Call Blocking & Identification (it's simply Blocked on earlier versions of the iOS).
On that screen, you'll see all of the phone numbers you have blocked. If you want to unblock a number, tap Edit in the top right corner, tap the red circle to the left of the number, and then tap Unblock.

Is There a Problem With Your Ringtone?

If your problem still isn't solved, it's worth checking your ringtone. If you have an iPhone custom ringtone assigned to contacts, a deleted or corrupted ringtone can cause your phone not to ring when someone calls. To address problems with ringtones, try these two things: 1. Setting a new default ringtone. Here's how:
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Sounds (or Sounds & Haptics).
  3. Tap Ringtone.
  4. Choose a new ringtone.
2. You should also check to see if the person whose calls you're missing has an individual ringtone assigned to them. To do this:
  1. Tap Phone.
  2. Tap Contacts.
  3. Find the person's name and tap it.
  4. Tap Edit in the top right corner.
  5. Check the Ringtone line and try assigning a new ringtone to them.
If the unique ringtone seems to be the source of the problem, you'll need to find all the contacts that had that ringtone assigned to them and select a new ringtone for each. It's tedious but necessary if you want to hear those calls as they come in.

If None of This Fixed the Problem

If you've tried all of these tips and still aren't hearing your incoming calls, it's time to consult the experts. Make an appointment at the Apple Store and bring in your phone for inspection and, potentially, repair.

My handset is flashing check phone line. attemped unplugging /batteries etc please can you help I have not had any joy with my EE

Take an old fashioned phone (wired handset, no external power needed) and connect it to the jack. Do you have a dial tone? If the simpler phone has a dial tone, the cordless phone system has a problem. Otherwise, try a different RJ-11 cord. (Note: a handset cord does not work in place of the standard phone cable between the base and the wall jack. I've seen this mistake made.) I assume that the power adapter wasn't cold when you unplugged it and plugged it back in. (No power to the base would give the same error on some handsets.) Check for dial tone at other jacks for the same phone line (if available). I use the old-fashioned phone for these tests. Try locating the telephone service box. If there is an RJ-11 jack in the box, check for a dial tone. Your telephone company can test the line if the box doesn't have a RJ-11 jack. If you have no dial tone at any jack, contact your telephone company. You probably have a damaged wire outside. Most telephone companies repair outside problems for free. (There are some companies that will try to get you to pay for an upgrade to new wiring.) If other jacks inside your home work, then the loose or damaged wires are either behind the face plate or in the wall from the service box and the face plate. Open the face plate and look for any loose wires. There are two types of face plates/jacks. One uses screws to secure the wires. Remove the insulation on each conductor and secure at the terminal location. The other option is a keystone jack. For these, you need a wire push down tool from your local hardware store (in the electrical wiring section). Do not strip the wire and push into the barbs of the keystone at the correct spot. Cut off the extra wire sticking past the outside edge of the keystone with wire nippers if needed. This diagram, https://www.lanshack.com/wire_phone_jack.aspx , shows the wire colors and the appropriate terminal locations. If the wiring problem is inside the wall between the service box and the face plate, you may want someone else to track and fix the issue. Many telephone company service techs will do this for a fee. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (I've had phone issues from mice chewing on the lines (outside, underground), someone breaking a line while digging for another utility, a damaged modem in a fiber-optic service for all jacks for the house. Those were all repaired by the telephone company or other agency. When we had single jack that failed to work following a service upgrade, we found one wire left loose behind the siding. Fishing the wire up and plugging it into the service box solved the problem.)

When I call another extension it has a busy signal but rings to the other phone how can I fix this?

Perhaps it isn't a busy signal, but a ringing signal. If it rings, you have no problem. If it is a PBX Machine. Cut the power to the main control box for 2 minutes to reset. Please include make and model in all Fixya questions. Thanks.
