RADIO CAR CLOCK SCREEN ONLY
Try this...it is for the 2000 series but should work for all KDCs:
Hold the "Menu" button for about one second to enter the Kenwood's menu. This button is located on the right side of the faceplate.
Push "AM" or "FM" until the Kenwood's screen shows "Clk Adjust."
Hold the "Right Seek" button for about two seconds. The clock will start to blink. It's now ready to be set.
Push the "AM" button repeatedly to increase the hour. If you want to decrease the hour, push the "FM" button.
Push the "Right Seek" button to increase the minute. Push the "Left Seek" button to decrease the minute. Push "Menu" to set the time.

put on standby mode. then hold in "menu" button.
go through the list by pushing the right hand trigger down. there should be an option aux1. change this to turn on and aux input is on the source option.
