Not spining like it should

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean(ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Front load washer

HI. your model has a dispenser solenoid for the fabric softener dispenser on this unit. If the solenoids are out or malfunctioning, it will render the dispenser useless. i recommend checking the solenoids on the fabric softener dispenser for continuity. The resistance should be 1100+- 7%. replacing this blown solenoid will fix this issue. Remember. the dispenser valve will not function without a working solenoid.

please rate and god bless.

Broken shock and drum/seal leak

Power off the wall mains. Open up the machine panel to look interiors. See if any springs or shocks (known as dampers) have broken or come off. The dampers should not slide in & out freely, if they're defective, replace. Tighten all loose wires, which may have come loose, future probs, so you dont have to open up again.

Next level your machine, front legs way up, means your machine is tilting towards you. Then adjust accordingly so that u cannot shake the machine with both your hands. Lock the nuts, only the fronts legs are adjustable, for most machines. (will get back to u)

My f/l Frigidaire w/m ''bangs'' between cycles. Its 7 years old.

Next why your machine vibrates violently is because of big sheets or stuff like that with smaller clothes. You hv to stop the machine, wait for the door to click & open to adjust clothes, but it seldom helps. (Who asked u to buy anti-vibrators, you could have sent me the money)

What else, other vibes, could be the spider arm (you cannot see) may be on its way out, but hope not, its a major fix) If anything else i'll try to help. If all this helps click me excellent, not that i make 50 cents, it's just great fun. You can search within this site for many things re washers.

Water is leaking from under the washer.

Yes you are correct, there is a seal there. The part is not expensive, but the labor will be. This is a long job.

Doesnot stop filling water

To javed_iqb904, does the drum actually fill or does it seem like that water is draining out as it's filling?

To neonllama19, if it fills with the tap on and the machine off, it sounds like a defective water valve. If it never stopped filling it sounds like a defective pressure switch or hose to the pressure switch is loose or diconnected.

Frig front load washer GLTR1670AS too much play in tub

Remove the kickplate and inspect the 2 tub shock absorbers, it sounds like they might be broken. If the tub is hanging to one side or dropped all together, remove the top and check the tub support springs.

When my washer goes into fast spin it is very loud

If it sounds like it's growling or rumbling it's definitely the bearing.
The rear shell of the tub which includes the bearing will need to be replaced since the bearing is not serviceable on it's own.
It's going to get worse until it fails completely.
In the future, make sure you are using HE (high efficiency) detergent. About 2 tablespoons for a full load is enough.

Not spining

It could be the motor they installed (either incorrectly installed or defective).
It could be the SCU/ MCU (speed control unit/ motor control unit).
It could be the door lock mechanism (if it does not sense that it's not locked you will not get high speed spin).
It could be a wiring issue (loose or corroded connections).
It could also be an unbalanced load (this can be verified by trying a spin cycle with the machine empty).

Hopefully whoever "they" are they have a guarantee if the work was done not too long ago. Get them back in there.

Hope that helps!

Frigidaire gltf1670a front door seal instalation

Open the door and remove either the outer bellows spring (newer models) or use a putty knife to scrape the glue around the bellows to release it from the cabinet lip. At this point lean the machine back to give more space between the drum and the cabinet.
Remove the kickplate for easier access and to visually check for leaks later.
Starting at the top, pull on the bellows firmly (close to the tub) until it comes out of the groove. Once it comes off you will see the bellows spring.
Install the new bellows starting at the top by aligning the marks (arrow on the bellows top and arrow on the tub lip). Work your way around until bellows is properly seated snug against the tub.
Here it gets tricky, it might be easier with an extra pair of hands but there's less room. Some bellows kits contain spacers/plugs which will help to "hold" the spring as you stretch it back in place. Work from the top down on both sides at once. Either use the spacers/plugs or have someone hold the spring in place as you work your way around.
Once in place, lay the machine back to level and reinstall the front of the bellows to the cabinet. Either re-install the outer bellows spring or re-glue the bellows to the cabinet. If this is not done you risk a water leak.
With towels handy (just in case), let the machine fill and agitate for a few minutes and check for water leakage. If all is well, make sure machine is still level by try to rock it diagonally from the top (if it rocks, lower the leg that is lifting). Re-install the kickplate and wash some laundry!

Replacing a belt on a frigidaire glft1670a

First remove the top of the unit by taking out the 4 screws at the back of the machine. After the screws are removed, push the top foreward and lift it off. Next, remove all of the screws on the back of the machine and remove the rear cover. The belt should be infront of you now. If your belt is broken or worn, go buy a new one. Put the belt in the grooves of the motor pulley first. Hold the belt onto the pulley while you use the other hand to start the belt onto the wash tub pulley. Slowly rotate the large tub pully and feed the belt on fron the motor pulley. There will be a fair amount of pressure and this is normal. Keep turning the large pulley until the belt slips on fully. Spin the large pulley a few rotations to make sure the belt is centred and is in the proper grooves of the motor pulley. Now replace the back cover and top in the reverse order.

LG washer WMo532HW-loud noise & leakage

Your bearings and drum shaft seal are leaking. This is a common problem with front loader washers and it is very expensive to have repaired. If you are handy you can repair this yourself for far less. If you think you are but are not handy, do not attempt. Buy only Japanese made bearings and not Chinese because for the small price difference it just is not worth the chance. Do your research!!!!
