Why is the door is locked and burners won't work

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that the oven door is locked and you are unable to turn the burners on for your Frigidaire range, model# FEF365AS. It sounds like your range could possibly be in a "Lockout" mode. Please try pressing and holding down the "Clear/Off" button for 3-5 seconds. This should unlock your oven as well as allow you to use your cooktop area. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Oven will not come on

the solder on the oven relay melts eventually.if it doesn't ruin the board, you can re-solder it, otherwise you need a new control head.

I have a Frigidaire wall

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Try the simple things first. If you are using a direct connection check the terminal block were power comes in to the oven. Often I find that over time the terminals get hot and you can lose power when that happens. Also look on the range control for any signs of hot wires. You are experiencing a power power loss while the unit is supposed to be powered. This may sound a bit far fetched but... there is even the possibility of the oven main Circuit breaker being loose where it plugs into the main panel and the terminals are getting hot there. For the moment... PUSH the oven CB to OFF then back to ON. Then press on the face of the CB to make sure it is seated well in the main power panel electrical bus bars. I think that if you do an inspection you locate signs of something that has been hot some where on the terminal board, oven wiring or the range control itself. Make sure to look at the relays on the range control for signs of being hot. I don't think you will find anything wrong with the relays as your problem is common to input power being lost. Most of the time when input power is lost evern briefly the real problem is wiring or input power terminal boards that have problems.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I have a F1 code how do I fix it?

The "F1" fault code is indicating a shorted keypad, electronic oven control board failure or the oven sensor probe (RTD) may have gone bad. It will either have a bad oven sensor probe (RTD) or a failed Electronic Oven Control (EOC) board.

There are 3 things you can try and atleast one of them will work.
1)hold in the door button and push broil until the latch makes a 360 degree then the door lock should stop flashing and the oven will work again
2)press and hold the lock button for about 3 seconds.
3)push and hold in on the door switch with the door open and push cancel will reset

One of my burners is out, and I do not know how to get under the cooktop

You can check the element from the switch on the control panel. Unplug the oven, remove the back and put an ohm meter on r1 and r2 terminals to check resistance. If it shows open then the element is bad. If it shows resistance then replace the switch. To remove the top there should be screws under the front part of the top which you can see when you lower the door then just lift up. You won't be removing just the glass.

How do I turn the volume down or turn off the beep from my Frigidaire Gallery 5.0 cu. ft. Gas Range when the oven reaches its intended temperature?

As copied from the manual. Setting a silent control panel When choosing a function, a beep will be heard each time a pad is pressed. If desired, the control can be programmed for silent operation. Press and hold (start/time) . After 7 seconds, the control will beep once. This will block the controls from sounding when a pad is pressed. To return the sound, press and hold (start/time) again for 7 seconds until the control beeps once NOTE! The OVEN indicator light on the electronic display will turn ON and OFF when using the Bake feature and during preheat. This is normal and indicates that the oven is cycling to maintain the selected baking temperature. When the preheat indicator light turns OFF, your oven is ready.
