i accidently plugged something into the service usb port on my tv. now it does not work at all?????

flickering white line across top of vizio 47" tv screen
I had that problem on my Vizio 37" and my new Vizio 55" and now after reading the solution of adjusting the HV position in the setup menu, the problem is fixed! Thank you!!

Vizio turns on front light lights, but no picture or sound?
Hi sknotowicz, This is an indication of out-of-regulation in the power supply section. The very
common caused of this fault is the leaky
electrolytic capacitor in
that section. It will drop the supply from normal voltage and
will disable the unit. Sometimes it has a bulged/dome at the top but not all, it is better
that you have a capacitor
checker/tester to determine
its condition. Also, bad
solder joints can produce the
same symptom, it is hard to spot, you should use table lamp/portable lamp for
finding the cold solder. Secondary reason of fault is the open fuse/fusible resistor in series with the output of regulator IC/transistor, shorted/openRegulator IC/transistor,
shorted zener diode(all
are in the power supply section) and the microcontroller.
Best that you check the output voltage of each regulator to determine where the
fault came from and narrow the job. If you don't have necessary tools
and test instruments, and can't do the job yourself, I would advice you to
look for a professional to troubleshoot the problem. Don't
attempt to work in the power supply if you don't know the safety precaution of handling it, there some stored
electricity enough to hurt you with a little mistake only. Also check if your unit is under warranty /extended warranty,
avail it because the manufacturer of your unit will fix it for free. Don't open

My 42" Vizio TV turns on and says No Signal, then turns off. What can be the problem?
push INPUT on remote, select the input source you want, keep changing channel to find a exist channel.

Vizio LCD has a dark screen and the picture is flickering or flashing.
Your back light inverter is provably bad.

This vizio TV was working on Friday morning. Friday afternoon it had neight sound or picture on the screen. I called the company and they gave me the above case number and said some one would come out to fix it. I have heard nothing since friday and this is Monday evening.

we bought the display model and have no remote other websites say to hold menu button on tv but that doesn't do anything. Help I have a very upset 16 year old.

The Amazon Prime app on my Vizio TV has not worked since I bought the TV 2 weeks ago. The screen just says that the app is being updated. Vizio says that the problem is with Amazon and Amazon's help desk took a message, but hasn't called me back.
If you can, take the tv back to the retailer and exchange it for a new one. While you are at the store get them to update the app.

My Vizio HDMI ports stopped working. It took about 3 months but each socket went out a few weeks apart from each other. The very last HDMI ports went out. What can we do to fix its. And if we need a new circuit board, how much would it cost?
