I download the update on a usb key and now I put it in my blu-ray player nothing happen???

The exact same thing happens to me. It reads Blu-Rays, burns DVDs fine, but when I put in a blank Blu Ray disc to burn, it freezes. As soon as I open the tray, the computer continues as normal as though nothing happened. I can't find anything on what is going on.

Well it is obvious they are not compatible with your player, a common issue with many blueray dic's

You may not burn discs because it is a DVD-Blu-Ray Player not a disk burner.

Have you updated the firmware on it? I had a similar problem with a Sony blu-ray player and I had to download an update and burn it on to a CD then allow the CD to update the blu-ray player. What's the model number of your player, I may be able to get a link to the update for you. 

Change your network modem/router to WPA-AES only (remove the AES+TKIP setting).

Try first out another provider. If the problem still exists than someone is jamming it or cracked. In this case you should get new gear. However if it worket without the password why did you put one on?

I have the same model Dvd recorder LG but FOXTEL wont appear, there should be an AV button on the remote but there is not for the Dvd nor is there an Inout button. How do i make FOXTEL APPEAR .? all cables seem ok.. What channel is it running through ? Pls help.. Thnx

When properly connected to a High Definition display or TV, Blu-Ray Disks (BD) should play crystal clearly. Inserting an old "non-Blu-Ray" disk (or the original "DVD") in the Blu-Ray player will display a comparatively "fuzzy" picture. This is the difference between High Definition and Standard Definition. A "BD player" can not "upgrade" the picture quality on DVDs to that of a BD or High Definition picture.

Rent, purchase or choose Blu-Ray Disks (BD) whenever a choice is offered to view the High Definition version of a movie or video. Selecting the DVD version will provide the lower quality or Standard Definition version of the same movie or video.

Check the covers or disk itself to determine if the movie or video is in DVD or BD format. That will tell you what you can expect for picture quality.

Blu-ray players are an evolving electronic. They need to be updated almost monthly. Best buy will do this for a fee. or you can plug in a lan line from your home network then in menu of Blu-ray player go to network update. this should solve all your problems
