Want to download pictures from pdc700 polaroid camera

Try to download the required software from Polaroid. Every computer needs software (and a driver) so it can transfer the pictures from a camera to the computer. The software always comes with the camera. but if you don't know where the CD is, try the firm of your brand. If that won't work (some brands no longer exists and some on't support that long) you always could try some free software like from Ulead, Pixir, BeFunkey, Gimp, Photoshop express. Or if your camera does have a memory card, buy a external card reader and use that to transfer the pictures and videos to your computer.

Will not download pictures

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

When I try and take

Your memory card has been write protected. This can be fixed very easily.
  1. Turn off camera.
  2. Take out the memory card. (it's probably located near the battery. press down on it and release it. Then it will pop out.)
  3. Slide the small switch on the side of the card to the position marked with an unlocked padlock.
  4. Put card back in and turn on cam.
There. That's it. hope that helped.

How can i download pics without the software disc

The easiest way to transfer the pictures onto your computer is to remove the memory card and plug it into a card reader (either built in or a USB card reader if you have one). If not, you can connect your camera to your computer by the USB cable.

Once you plug the camera or the card in, Windows will usually ask you if you want to import the images. You can do that or import them manually by opening up the SD card or camera in my computer and dragging the files to the folder you want to store them in.

Another option would be to get an external BluRay/DVD/CD drive and plug it into your USB for the disc. Depending on the features you need, they can be pretty inexpensive.

Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

Can I get rid of the date from my pictures?

To turn on or off the Date and Time stamp features, push the menu button. It's the small silver button on the back panel directly beneath the printed letter M, and just above the little green LED. This opens the menu. Now, press the right side of the ring shaped control button, where the little lightning arrow is. This will scroll through the different menu categories. Keep scrolling until you get to the one at the far right of the screen. It is a blue icon that looks like an envelope and a clock. This will bring up the menu for toggling the Date and Time stamp. Use the top and bottom of the ring to select the setting you want, and press the button in the middle of the ring, marked SET DISP, to select it. Then press the menu button again to get out of the menu and return to taking pictures.

I need to find a usb cable for a polaroid i836

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Even if you have to buy a card reader, one won't cost you any more than a USB cable.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
