The top element does not heat up but the bottom one does,

Hello Barry Kirstein - From what you have described it sounds like the unit has a faulty elements or could possibly be experiencing a wiring issue with the EOC. Try resetting the oven by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose the unit.

Frigidaire range GLEF378CSB oven lights come on but the oven does not get warm. Thought I heard a pop

Hello - Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately two minutes and turn the range back on. Select a normal bake cycle and if issue continues then the unit may possibly have either a faulty element, bad communication error with the main control board, oven sensor, or mechanical thermostat. I strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately. They also usually warranty their labor just in case something else may turn out to be the root cause of your initial problem and it does work out better to your advantage.

Range and oven wont work

Hello Jason Korn - Try unplugging the range and plug a hair dryer or some other electrical appliance in the outlet to confirm that there is power to the unit. If the outlet is working and from what you have described if both the range and oven is not working then I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately. The range may possibly have a faulty wiring to EOC or the EOC itself.

My FEF366CCE Fridgidaire stove burner is overheating. No matter what setting I turn it on, the heat goes to max. What part needs to be replaced?

It could be the heating element itself. It also could be the control board that communicates with the heating element. Only true way to know is if the unit has an error code displayed or a technician diagnoses it fully in person.

The baking element on my Frigidaire electric

check the sensor first http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Oven-Sensor/316490001/1259650 this site will help you,if the sensor is good then you have a bad clock assy. bad bake relay.if it's the sensor part number 316490001 and it's around 35 dollars or the computer board or clock assy. same thing part number 316557115 and that's around 85 dollars.you should also order the overlay too, this is the part you push on to set the oven and it's black the part number is 316419103 and it's around 25 dollars.unplug the machine, pull it out,you might have to remove the back panel, unplug the sensor and read it out with a meter, also there should be a tech sheet on the back top panel, read up on the sensor and it will tell you what it should read.hope this helps, good luck and have a great holiday

Getting a F1 code

you have a bad clock assy. if you send the full model number i can look up the part for you,the part number that comes up is 316557115 and it's around 85 dollars, you should also order the overlay part number 316419103 and that's around 25 dollars.go here http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Frigidaire-Parts/Range-Parts/Model-FEF366EBF/1428/0124111/R0903076/00001?blt=06&prst=&shdMod= and look at part number 20 and 20a,these are the parts you'll need, sometimes you can get lucky and peel the overlay off of the old board and reuse it with a putty knife but if it's beat up looking the part that you push on change it out.also when you call your parts store give them the full model number and the color of the overlay so you get the correct parts, open the bottom draw under the oven door, look on the left or right side of the frame not on the draw and on the frame you'll find a tag with the model and serial numbers, give them the full model number so you get the right parts.good luck and have a great holiday.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

Error code F1 is displayed due to electronic oven control failure and the only way to solve this problem is by replacing the control board which is bad. Sorry for the bad news but hope you understand... Please get back to me if you have any other questions. Kevin
