Yes I can under stand this you have done descaleing but you have not done descaleing in the proper way very thing has its sequence let take dolce gusto by pressing for few seconds the power button it will blink in green this means that the machine is now indescaleing mode when you're done you simply press the power of in this case you have told the machine that you want to do descaleing and after this the internal computer is reset to normal this is why you machine is still blinking because it had not been reset

Just unplug the machine, remove the water container and place the machine on its back and then upside down and back upright. I did that and to my surprise it worked. Really I wanted to look at the bottom for the serial number and so on..... after trying every trick I could find and nothing was working.... Good luck
