Bunn-O-Matic Coffee Brewer GRW8 - Page 3 Questions & Answers
My single cup bunn coffee maker will not brew coffee, light is on. If we plug and unplug it several times, it will work.
Underneath the warming plate is a element assembly that will have 1 or 2 thermal fuses and a temp sensor. If any of these have faulted that condition will arise.
I suspect that the temperature sensor is 'sticking' in the open position. If you remove the bottom cover (while unplugged of course) and lightly tap the sensor with your screwdriver it may remedy the issue for awhile but the initial cause of the problem will still exist. If the brewer is worth it you can replace the sensor otherwise it may just be cheaper to recycle it.
I have a bunn coffee maker that takes over an hour to heat brew water.
Clean a Bunn coffee maker once every three months if you have hard water. ... Unplug the Bunn coffee maker from its power source. Verify the brew funnel is in place in the machine, and set the decanter in the unit as if you were going to make coffee. Add 1 quart of white distilled vinegar to the top of the brewer.

What are the instructions for preheat after turning our bunn coffee maker off over night - there is not off switch, plug in only
* Bunn model # for specific solutions.
* Most Pro/Office models have a pre-heated tank.
* Most models (Without Vacation or heater switch) will be heated all the time.
* Care must be taken to keep the inner tank filled.
* Pour cold water into fill tray till water comes out of the brew basket.
* Water will stop coming out of brewer once the tank has been topped off.
* If pot is not able to brew after 20 mins of pre-heating. Then call for service.
* Note; most office and Pro machines used in food establishments are from coffee vendors. The larger machines should be serviced by qualified Bunn service techs.
* Contact your coffee vendor or Bunn service ctr for advice.

I have a Bunn dual satellite brewer, model 20900.6007, 120/208, and i'd like to use it in a trailer with 120/240, is this something that has been done by someone on here already?
Bunn, DUAL brewers are large volume (1-1/2 gal per thermal Dispencer.) In most commercial VAN operations there is a requirement to cook and assemble food in a sanitary food approved kitchen or process plant. Brewing would be done at the kitchen. To use this type of brewer would be to get enough 1-1/2 gal servers to cover your needs for the event. Brew everything you need in the morning and just take the servers to the event. I remember waking up at 4 AM to brew 25 servers for big events. We even did a mid morning run with another 15 servers. You can also install low wattage warmers designed for the servers. I suggest two warmers to keep regular and de-cafe hot. The rest can be set aside. Some servers will stay hot enough for up to 4 hours.
* Installing the brewer in the van has problems with keeping the water level. You will need a "Boat kit" to allow for sloshing water. You also need a pressurized water tap. Power is rated at 220-240 30 amps. (40 amps if your at 200VAC)
* Check with your local coffee vendor for advice.
