My 550D files playSMOOTH on my computer (Intel Core i7 920 2.67Ghz 12G Ram) but I still transcodethem to Sony Vegas preferred WMV video format because I often do some editingon-the-go. And the video converting software I use is Pavtube HD Video Converterwhich works well in my 550D clips.When you transcode those filesunfortunately disk space increases quite a bit...That's why I keep the 550DONLY for "creative & beauty" shots.
