The best way to delete the photos from Camdorder is to Connect it to the PC and under MY Computer or Computer, you will find a Drive created. Open the Drive and Delete the folder

the camcorder (actually the battery) gets quite warm if used continuously and it will not charge when plugged into the docking station. The indicator light on the camcorder will flash red and it will only charge after it has cool down. The light is a solid red when the battery is charging so this is one of the safety feature that prevents the battery from over-heating. So don't panic when you see the flashing red

There are several ways of converting your tapes to a digital format.
1. By routing it through a DV camcorder with AV-input (these are increasingly rare though. (using firewire).

3. By using a device which captures to MPEG2.

If you don't have your camcorder anymore, or it isn't functioning, you should try to get a second-hand 8mm camcorder with firewire. This way you are able to directly convert your tapes to your pc.
If you can't find a firewire camcorder you could just settle with a good functioning 8mm camcorder but you will have to buy a capture device as mentioned above.

Try Formatting the card in the camera, and check if there are any settings for record time also.

I discovered that what iMovie says I should do doesn't work. In HELP it says to set the camera to OC CAMERA. I would check the IR lamps work on the front of the camera.
