We have a Motorola MC9090

Hi Christine.

You should be able to use the Windows CE network setup wizard (unless third party software has been enabled to manage the network in place of Windows Zero Configuration).

To setup the static IP see here: Static IP Address Settings for the Wireless Access Points.

To choose or set Wi-fi network:

Ensure Wif-Fi is enabled.
Click the Wireless symbol located at the right-bottom corner of the desktop and choose "Options"
Choose "Regulatory" from dropdown menu.
Choose country settings if required.
Check or uncheck the box for "Enable 802.11d" as required by your settings.
click again the Wireless Icon and choose "Find WLANs"
Choose the network your want to connect and click connect.

After changing network settings, restart the unit by holding down the red button 10 seconds.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have Motorola PDA

You would need an application, which can use the scanner. If there is no app preinstalled use the DataWedge provided by Symbol on their support pages.
http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=10774

You can install the whole package on the desktop PC and then connect your PDA. The DataWedge will be installed automatically.

Hi Experts, I have a Motorola

Try doing cold boot - unlatch the battery, hold down trigger then the power button release the trigger while still holding the power button until screen resets. release the power button and wait for a screen prompt to latch the battery again. If still fails to boot you may need to do a OS update via SD card as the OS may be corrupt. BTW doing a OS update will wipe everything!
