Ok well im 14 and I have a p2 myself. Have you plugged in the cord all the way? Thats what happens to me sometimes. I forget to plug it in all the way and then it wont work. Just try that and let me know. It should work though. But was your p2 recognizing it was connected to your computer?

well get the firmware updated to 5.10 which will make it work

no not unless you still got it all on your computer, when you format it clears the whole memopry and just leaves your firmware...you jsut need to re install it.... ya it is stupid xD

well you can format the whole mp3 or just hook it up to the computer and delete it that way

just reset it

go to samsungplay.com and download the firmware for the yp-p2LAB witht hat it will update images and everything else

well if you got the 2 year warranty then you can get it replaced but if you don't then you gotta buy a diffrent mp3 or ipod

well usually it is just the headphones, but if you got the 2 year warranty then you can send it in and they will fix it or send you a new one

Usually when it is locked you need to put in the 4 digit asscode that was inserted or you need to call the samsung help which is 1-800-726-7864

The YP-P2 did not come with a manual for me, so I assume that none of them come with it (possibly to save money). You can download the manual on Samsung's website. Have you tried using a differant set of Headphones? If you still have the same problem with using other headphones, then it seems like there's a poor connection on the sound card from the headphone in input to the board. If your sound card works fine through normal speakers, then that's more then likely your problem.
The cheapest solution would be to replace the sound card rather then have it repaired, as it would probably cost you more to have it repaired then what it would be to buy one depending on what quality of sound your happy to listen to.

There is no solution, P2 cant view video exept for the video-files included.

You might have to have media player 10, which comes with the cd in the box.

I think its just the headphones. You should get a new pair unless you can repair them yourself.

there is a new firmware 5.10 which should fix it. Now only to figure you out how to upload the new firmware since EmoDio does not see it.

Did you read the manual ?
There is a reset button (hole) in the back the the unit.
