Have you seen the button on the left of your devise. Just hold that down and it ashould turn on. Another problem might be that the lock is on. The way you turn the lock off is you look on the side of the mp3 and if you see orange on one side the lock is on and you cant turn off the devise. On the p2 it says hold on it. just slide the hold button down and the lock will be off. If none of those work then you shold replace your device for a new one cause i have one and it's awesome.

you can use bestbuy digital music store to transfer music and if you want videos then use cinema now.com but make shure it is optomized for the p2. Gotr to costomer service and then lick on already asked questions then click on what devices are compatible with cinemanow and click on the link for the samsung yp p2. Then our golden i already have pirates of the carribbean, spiredman three, and i am legend. Just buy the movie, download it and transfer it to the device through samsung media studio. To download samsung media studio just put in the installation cd and highlight both the music store which you need to transfer music and the samsung media studio and intstall them both. then everything should work

You cant transfer dvd's to the device because of all the protected rights they have. However you can re purchase the movie at cinemanow.com and then transfer whatever movie you buy to samsung media studio and then transfer it to your device. Make shure however that you buy it for the yp p2
go to customer servise and click on the question that says what is cinema now compatable with or something like that. Then click on the website for the p2 nd then your golden. Just buy the movie, download it and transfer it. I already have pirates of the carribbean, i am legend and spiderman three

I am looking for microphone feature too. Maybe it is only enabled in the 8GB model since I have the 4GB model.

1. Download Winrar here, its a freeware, this will help you open the file

2. Download the firmware here, the newest one is 4.13

3. Unzip the firmware file and select "extract to" using winrar, just extract it to the "desktop"

4. After the 2 files are extracted from the folder, select both of them, right-click and select "cut"

5. Now, go to "My Computer", double-click "P2" (that's the MP4 player) and double-click "internal storage", now, in this directory, "Paste" the 2 files you "cut" earlier, once the files have been successfully pasted (look at your PC screen and MP4 player and make sure nothing is transferring), exit the window, unplug the MP4 player and power it on, the player will be updating and turning of a few times, but once its of, turn it back on until the whole process is finished.

Youve Got The Hold Button On

Hi there I figured out the problem with alot of buggering around. If you go into the control panel for your computer, go into system, then hardware and look at the driver settings, scroll down until you see your installed portable device (P2) then open it and install the drivers for the USB which come on the disk. This should let it run,

if you download it from lime wire o a free softwar then it wont show sry, rip it of a cd ( windows media) and it will show:D

download samsung media player the latest verison and it should come with codecs packets install them that will convert video

it needs to be reacharged and u can reacharge it by pluggin it in to your computor
