most of the memory that is taken up already are files to put your stuff in (movies, music, pics, etc) and the startup files. if you erase the games (which i'm not sure you can) then you will have about 3.7 gb, which is about 10 songs... i've had my ipod for a long time and still havent filled it up with music... and i have a lot of music. trust me, you have plenty of space.

Ipod Nano was washed in washing machine now it

DO NOT TURN IT ON AGAIN.. l did the same thing to my iPod a while back and called Apple. Their reccomendations are to let it dry out for at least two weeks and try it again. Turning it on again while the interior may be wet could fry the circuts. It nearly killed me to go without it for that length of time but, it saved me loads of money in the long run You may have to replace the battery afterwards (water seems to kill the ability to hold a charge for long) but it seems a small price to pay. Places like Radio Shack or Batteries Plus offer a full battery replacement for about 30 bucks.

3rd generation wont turn on

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

Hope this helps :)

My ipod nono 8gb got stuck up as screen light is

Press and hold the menu and center button simultaneously for about 10 seconds. The iPod should restart. Otherwise, connect your iPod to your computer, select it in iTunes, and press 'restore..' . This should solve the problem, but using the latter method your songs get erased from your iPod.
