SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player - Page 9 Questions & Answers
I have down loaded a bea to delete other songs -also I have one auto book I am not able to delete
What is a 'bea?'One way to delete songs (and maybe books) easily is to it through your computer, while the Sansa is tethered;1) Download the Sansa Clip manual. Here's a link;http://www.sandisk.com/media/327475/CLIP+_UM_0809_ENG+090309.pdf2) Put your Sansa in MSC (Mass Storage Class) mode. Go to Settings, then USB Mode. Select MSC mode.3) Tether the Sansa to your computer. It will look like a USB flash drive.4) Delete or add Music, or Books. You can use Windows Explorer to look through the directories on the Sansa, and delete files directly, as you would on a USB Flash drive.Special Note on Audio Books--Get an extra memory card, 4 to 8 Gb should do, and use this as your destination for audio books. If you have a book that will not delete, you can pull the card and re-format it, while leaving your songs intact on the main memory. If you cannot delete the book through the computer or by menus on the Sansa, you may have to re-format your main memory. Hope that helps!
Sound works for radio not for music volume is up
Did you try plugging in a different set of headphones? If other headphones work, maybe you need new headphones.Try playing music from your Sansa through the computer, while it is tethered. If you can do this, it may mean that the audio amplifier part of the Sansa is broken-- Usually this means, 'get another Sansa.'Also, try gently wiggling the headphone plug to the left and right, while it is plugged in. If you get music on and off, its possible that the headphone connector on your Sansa has a broken connection. This is a VERY difficult problem to fix (without breaking or melting something else inside the case) and also usually means it is time to get another MP3 player.
I don't understand how to use my sandisk clip 2mg mp3
Possible that the memory is corrupt due to some bad files and so it is best to connect the player to the PC and remove off all the files. Now format the memory and try to LOAD ONLY the safe files. It is possible that a RESET can also make the player come off from the hang state but if this happens often then the memory must be cleared.

My 8Gb Clip did the same after a firmware update. Apparently it's due to new EU regs about MP3player volume limiting. To fix select 'reset all' (note any settings you want to re-set later), after reset, select your language and then set region to 'Rest of World'. Sorted!
My player simply stopped playing
mine did the same thing. like the battery went dead.. tried to charge it a few times, from the wall outlet and from the computer. nothing happend. then just by chance more than anything else i had it pluged in to the computer when i turned on the computer and it started working. not sure if that was the fix or not. just know it didnt work when i pluged it in when the puter was already on..
Plugged headphones in usb port
I solved this problem by not pushing the the plug all the way in.
I moved it gently until I got the music.
I tried different headphones and I still had to do the same thing.
Hope this helps.

Sansa clip+ ......dropped about 400
Only thing I can think of is to start over, and hope there is no problem.
Then you will know if you screwed up, and don't know how, or if the thing is messed up.
Try a different method of loading tunes onto it.
try everything

My sansa mp3 does not
You may need another USB cord or try another USB port. Then Try another computer, Try to figure out which part is causing the malfunction. The Mini plug on the Sansa player will fit many other devises. Find some other device that will fit and plug that in to see if the cord is OK. Then try to reset your player. See this tip >>>
