INTERIOR FRIG LIGHT
replace the switch before the seal, nothing wrong with gasket., you may need to raise the refrig door a bit by , remove the door and install a small spacer to raise the door slightly for better contact
Light switch
correct, you can either take off the refrig door and place asmall shim under the hinge raising it an 1/8 inch or soor you can slightly pry down the light switch from the liner, and fill the small gap created with a small bead of silicone
Bottom crisper bins
sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all taht ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youl melt everything) or by pouring hot water donw the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine
Refrigeraotr is out but freezer still works
doesnt make adiff how you loaded freezer, shouldnt affect fan operation anyway. if you have a meter you can check for proper voltage(110v) to fan wires and if you have power youll need to replace fan, easy enough to do just a few screws and about $50.. part number 5304445861.
Refrigerator is out but freezer still works
Hello dan_2137
Welcome,
You said, overloaded freezer may have caused fan to go out? Is this possible?
Cleaned dust from compressor and shut off to let it cool down but it is
still not working
Yes It's possible. If the freezer is so packed full where the packages cover the air vents in the rear of the freezer.
The freezer and the fridge share the cold air and this is the first think we look for if the fridge is warm and the freezer cold, And the fan works nonstop rather than cycling off and on!
What is the model number and year of your fridge!
Waiting your response.

Refrigerator not cooling...bad odor.
check the condensor fan motor to see if its working and check the condensor for dust etc. the condensor fan is in the back on the bottom, you may need to remove a panel to access the fan. if the unit is running and the fan is not turning or if it is turning slow replace the fan. If possible check to see if the fan is getting 120 volts.

What does E6 code in Frigidaire wine fridge mean? Model FGWC5233TS
The E6 error code on a Frigidaire wine fridge, specifically the model FGWC5233TS, indicates a fault with the upper temperature sensor. When this error code is displayed, it means that the temperature sensor located in the upper portion of the wine fridge is not functioning properly or is experiencing a malfunction.
To troubleshoot and resolve the E6 error code, you can try the following steps:
- Unplug the wine fridge from the power source for a few minutes and then plug it back in. This may reset the error code and resolve any temporary issues.
- Ensure that the wine fridge is properly leveled. Uneven positioning can affect the performance of the temperature sensor. Adjust the feet or placement of the unit to ensure it is level.
- Check for any obstructions or blockages around the upper temperature sensor. Make sure there are no items blocking the sensor or disrupting its operation.
- If the error persists, it is recommended to contact Frigidaire customer support or a qualified appliance technician for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on the model and help diagnose and repair the issue with the upper temperature sensor.
