Also there is a vent towards the back of the freezer that circulates air from the freezer section to the fresh food section. If you would, make sure that the vent is not blocked so that air can travel from the vent down to the refrigerated part. This will decrease the temperature in the freezer, allowing for ice cream to be pliable and the fresh food section to become colder. Im not familure with this item but on the older style fridge ice would build up in the freezer blocking the air ways to the bottom half of the fridge in this case you would need to remove the food from the freezer and fridge and unplug it open the doors and let it thaw out for a day or so I wish you luck and I hope this was helpful
