remove the printer driver and install it again

You have to remove the 3rd clip on the back behind the back panel. its like a beige or white color there is 5 of them (its the one little different than the other) and try to put a bit of clean water on the brush above the main feeder, remove the clip by just pulling the two little clips on it and it should work if you tried everything else and its not working, but make sure your feeder is clean and spin properly.

Select the document which you want to print.give the print command.Open the printer properties.Look for the option features and printing Select color printing .Your printer will print the document successfully.

First, make the printer self test. If the problem continues, unfortunately your carriageappears to be damaged and is activating all jets when printing. Try to replace it to solve the problem.

check your paper quality maybe it sets to fast draft

If you are on Vista or Win 7 & OS, try installing as administrator. Right click on the the setup.exe, and click install "As Administrator"

You can clear it, but it can not work correctly, or.... Will be well if you change your printer to laserjet

It might be the print spooler is lock and try to restart it again.

Go to START MENU
Choose Commamd prompt, right click mouse and run as administrator (You should be in this command C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32- If not type this command when you in the dos command prompt "CHDIR C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\ and press enter")
Type the letter "cmd"
Type the word "net stop spooler"
Exit
Go to C: drive
Choose to Windows Folder
Click show content
Choose system32 folder
Choose spool folder
Choose printer
And delete any printing jobs pending
Again go back to CMD window and type the word "net start spooler"
Restart your computer and must also turn off your printer and then switch it on.
It will work fine right now

take cartridges out and reinstall them , then make sure the cover is closed all the way. there is a switch thatnthe cover hits to complete the circuit.

Gee, I have had hp for a while.
Sometimes the drivers go nuts.
My friend had a problem similar to yours. We called for assistance.
She was told that she needed to send it back to the manufacturer. Before doing that I told her that we should "delete" the printer then re-install it.
That seemed to work out well and she has had no printing problems for over 4 months.
