My canon pixma mp 258

Note : Do not forget to select Easy Install.... thanks
Where is the automatic feed
Sadly the PIXMA MP210 does not have a automatic document feeder. The only point paper can ender the printer is via the standard paper feed which is located at the back. You simply extend this feed from the back of the printer.
How to reset my cannon mp280 printer
Are you talking about resetting the ink levels or the printer itself? I am not sure if you have the owners manual so here is the Manual from Canon website for the PIXMA MP280.http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp280#BrochuresAndManualsHope this helps..
E22 error on Pixma MP210
I had this problem as well. After turning on, there'd eventually be a whirring noise followed up by a "CLUNK" noise, and then I'd get the e22 message. Took it down to a local printer place and the guy had a quick look.
- If you open up the printer so that the ink moves to the left, you should see the white plastic cleaning bed all the way to the right. The guy showed me how this thing can be snapped into an up and down position. Mine was stuck in an up position, therefore after the guy pushed it down everything was hunky dory.
Apparently it was cos the printer needs to do a cleaning cycle before it does anything else, so with the cleaning bed in the stuck position it couldn't do it. Hope this helps.
Error e42
It mean you have damaged scanner. Disassemble the printer then change flex cable, if problem still exist try to change scanner.

Cannon MP210 printer
I tried this and it worked (thanks to a suggestion from someone else but can't find his name right now) --
I found a slender piece of cardboard, the front off one of my 1-subject notebooks. I cut the jagged edges off, made sure there wasn't any debris or loose crumbs of paper. Put about 20 sheets of paper into the printer and put this cardboard as the first sheet. Pressed the copy button. When it started to attempt to feed, I forced it through.
What did it find?? A moth had flown into the printer at some time, gotten smushed, smashed and stuck -- and was preventing the paper from feeding through! OMG, I almost tossed this Canon MP210 in the garbarge.
So thanks to you guys with ideas about cardboard and a little muscle. I ran another piece through just to clean out all the stickiness (and the remnants of the moth's body). Works fine now.

Where are the "ink absorbers"?
Ink Absorber Full This may clear the ink absorber problem. There is ink absorbers located at both ends of the printer where the ink head move. To dry the ink absorber, power up the printer and open the cover so the ink cartridges and print head will move to the middle of the printer. Then take several sheets of absorbent tissue, fold it into a pad and place it inside the printer over the ink absorber on the far left hand side of the printer to soak up the excess ink. You may need to change the absorbent tissue a few times. Then repeat the same procedure on the right hand ink absorber. Close the lid and the printer should now function normally.
