I have a canon mp210 and it's saying paper jam..there is no jam. Paper is going towards the right when trying to feed but does not feed.

Go into the canon website and check for software updates that are compatible with your computer I.E . (Windows 7, Windows 8)

Sounds like you need to setup printing preferences on the print programme

it is automatically online when printer is on and connected to computer. if its offline, but it is "on" ang connected to computer, check the usb cable or the port on both end where it is connected. if you purposely set it offline before, just do the same thing by right click the printer and choose the option that says "online"

if your referring to photocopying but printout is darker, it doesnt work. canon copiers produce copies like the original or better than the original sometimes. try to scan the file in custom mode and adjust the brightness and contrast and click preview to view the outcome before scanning it then print it later

1st option, set the default profile in the printer properties. if it doesnt work. this will change all the settings that you might missed to check to go back to factory setings. also, check if your color cartridge is ok and with enough ink and not dis abled2nd option, run any 3rd party software that can fix some windows system files or something like that. try to scan pc for viruses3rd option, reformat your pc. maybe windows files that allows your printer to work are having problems or corrupted, base on the thing that you mentioned that it goes back to the grayscale settings

see manual for maintenance tools in cleaning print heads or maintenance tab in printers and devices for head cleaning. dont do it manually. you might damage the cartridge

e3 means paper jam. check for jammed papers inside printer. also check if the carriage that contains cartridges can move freely, left to right and look for obstructons that prevents it from moving

if you can print but cant scan, your usb is ok. so its either your pc or your scanner machine has the problem. to isolate the scanner machine if it has the problem, try to scan with the lid or scanner cover is open. observe if the "stick" (with the lights and belt attach to it) can move around the glass (left or right or up and down, depends on how you look at it). if its stuck in one side, then you have a mechanical problem. otherwise, check for your pc for some problem. you can check it by installing the printer driver to a 2nd computer and see if that pc can scan or not. if that 2nd pc cant scan too, definitely your printer is defective

i think p07 refers ink absorber is ful and asks for ireset. . as far as i know, printers that came after mp198 mostly requires software reset. you might need to search for a software reset specific for your printer.
