Use ActiveSync to copy the following files onto your phone
Cert_SPCS.cab
EnableRapi.cab

2. Install the above 2 applications on your phone by clicking on the CAB

3. Unzip Touch_Unlock.zip on your PC and run Unlock_Touch.exe (See that the ActiveSync connection between the PC and the mobile is still up

4. A file unlock_code.txt will be generated which will have the 8 digit unlock code (Ignore any other digits if generated.

Hi,
I fixed my problem of my HTC touch not Syncing with my phone thru the USB cable.
Go to
Start, Settings, System, Power, Advanced and select/enable the option that says "When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC."
If it still does not work at first then disconnect the USB from your PC/device, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
You'll suddenly see your phone and your PC syncing.

HTC Touch P3540 / P3452 doesn't come with PC Suite. You can download the software named "Active Sync 4.5" from Microsoft. The software is available on Microsoft website at below link -
http://microsoft-activesync.brothersoft.com/microsoft-activesync4.5

After installing make sure that you are creating pairing between your PC/Laptop and HTC Smartphone. Until this is completed, you cant transfer any of your media files to your phone.

Sir/Ma'am before the replacing of LCD, is your phone was working fine? And are you sure that you didn't touch any other hardware of the phone except replacing the LCD? If this so then it surely means that there is still problem in LCD and either you haven't replaced LCD correctly or there is itself problem in LCD. Because obviously display shows on LCD and may be your phone is still turning on and working fine but you can't see it because there is no display on the LCD. Check the LCD again or check that have you replaced it correctly. Its sure that if your phone was working fine before it then there is problem in LCD.

hi free_b_73 this sounds like your phone is doing a hard reset on it. Right now phone is doing what is call a hard reset. The our problem is that the phone has not finish yet. GO to hboot and see if that finishes. the phone should go come on all the way now. Next your going to have to reactivate the phone Set the phone up again. after you get the sim going I would get your gmail back on the phone this should reinstall your contacts and apps on the phone. this should help let me know if this works. As my knowledge, you can't reset HTC Touch P3450 unlock code if you forgot the code, but i have better solution to solve your problem. You just need to contact sprint provider and asking that HTC Unlock Code, and if you want an instant unlock code, you just need but that from online unlock code seller.
