I will not be very helpful but I have the same problem. I took it apart, fiddled with the ribbon flex and then it worked for a while if I squeezed it hard. Then it stopped working again, I took it apart, cleaned the ribbon flex and the sockets with alcohol but it didn't help...

call the service provider and tell this to fix the problem...they will help you,before the try switch off and switch and send it,if not call them.

Try taking it to the nearest maintenance

To find the IMEI of the phone, you can dial the following code and your IMEI will come up on your screen.

Also, the IMEI can be found on the label on back of the phone, behind the battery. You can remove the batter and read off the IMEI that way.

Sorry, you can have acces to many features and menus with "jog whell" but there is no buton to directly select things like [Calls][Select][MORE]

Default is 0000. If you have further problems, you can do a factory reset. WARNING: This will format the device, wiping all data off. This will cause you to lose everything on the device. To do a Factory reset:

Jog Dial UP
*
Jog Dial DOWN
Jog Dial DOWN
*
Jog Dial DOWN
*

Explanation: With the phone on, move the side/jog dial upwards once , then press *, move jog dial down twice and press * again, move jog dial downwards and press *


You will then see "Service Menus" and can choose either "Service Information" "Service Tests" or "Format Internal Disk"

You have to first subscribe for the internet services by calling and requesting your service provider. After that they will send you some settings for the internet and after that you will be able to surf the net easily..

cheaper to use a marker id keep looking for a good marker ... ps good thinking with the marker it took my company 4 yrs before we realized we could solve that problem that way

its telling you you have a corrupt file on your phone,that you need to get rid of

Speaker volume in P1i Service Menu

Go to the Main Menu > Phone > Phone to open the virtual numeric keyboard.

Do the following;

- 1 click up on jog dial and press (*)
- 2 clicks down on jog dial and press (*)
- 1 click down on jog dial and press (*)

to open the hidden Service Menus part of the phone.

Then go to the Service Tests > Speakers.

There are two selections, rear and front, and the "front" adjusts the volume of the ear speaker, which is used during the calls. Increase the volume to %100. Quit the Service Menus and make your call. I made one try and it was cool!"

You will need iSync.

If the transfer is completed you can find your file in the messages inbox folder. However, if it is NOT fully transfered it is located in the cashe (one of the hidden directories) of the Symbian OS. To delet or copy it, simply use MyPhoneExplorer and go to "File" management tab. there, in the below address you can find the file:

\Phone Memory\Shared\obex\

You can find it.
