you need to make sure that when you change it that you apply in your modem setup page that bridge mode is activated so that it turns it into a dumb unit allowing just to pass through the internet stream thus allowing constant nat 2 connection

go to a browser window and type the IP 192.168.0.1
this will let you into the admin/ password window if you know your password and user name your can enter the settings.

normally it goes like this log in 192.168.1.1 run set up and set up internet connection
go to wireless and for wep
select lower hex and you can use your cell or phone number select broadcast you can also change the name of the wireless connection here for something that make sense to you like family name or pet name, when you go to your laptop you will see the name or the network display with a lock on it click to connect and when ask for password insert then you phone number same that you set on the router as security code and wallah you will be able to connect securely and if you have iPhone i touch or any other wireless connection do the same.

hi for limited or no connectivity you need to give ip address manually in your local area network connection
for this
right click your LAN you can find properties in that internet protocol(Tcp/ip) in that you need to provide the manual ip

ok do this if it is already showing your router up on your portable device but it has that security lock and you are unable to join or need a password which u dont know lol go to that network and on the top push forget this network. than go back and click on for other location. than for the name put in your router name usually 5 characters long make sure u use capitalization cuz its case sensitive. than select what kind of key u have it should say right on the side of your wireless router. than type the key in usually a wep key and u should be set to join it if it doesnt auto matically do soo

How far away from the router are you?
Try moving close to the router, then when connected you can move away.
Does your network have a hidden ssid?
Your network maybe hidden for security reasons so you will have to type in your ssid manually.
Also make sure that your router will allow such devices onto its network, e.g the router may only allow known computers onto the network, in which case you will have to add your ipod to that list.
Last but not least, make sure that your router is set to use all Draft wireless B/G/N 802.11.

It's power adapter needs 12v and 1 amp.

Just reset your router and use (admin) for user name and password. To reset your router you can see a small hole in your router which is labeled reset. Use a pin and insert it to the hole and push.

try typing 10.0.0.138 that should be the routers default connection

Hello,
Log on to the router by typing the IP address into a web browser. This will log you into the router.
Once logged in you can select the "security" section and find your security key.
If you no longer have the password to log in you will need to reset the router. You can reset it by pressing a pin inot the pin hole on the back of the router near the AC adapter plug.

Let's guess. This is a DSL connection and you just reset the access to your internet account.

Find the paper or person who set the system up originally and start all over. Next time, have some sort of idea what you're doing BEFORE you press the reset button. You started with access to the router, and changing Wireless Security settings could have been undone if you went back into the box from a WIRED connection and turned off or altered the WEP code.

Hi Simply go to http://www.zyxel.com/ select your modem , then click Support and Drivers , Then download all required Drivers.You should be alright then.good luck

I wonder if your 'Active Wireless LAN' checkbox, found under 'Network > Wireless LAN > General Wireless LAN tab' is really checked. If so, and yet, your router doesn't broadcast, then I suppose its hardware is faulty.

My first suspicion is that you may be experiencing an ip address conflict. If your iPhone or PC is using the same IP address as your iMac, only one of them will be able to communicate (and possibly neither of them). This should occur only if one or more of these devices are using statically assigned IP addresses. Check the internet configurations for your devices and make sure they are all set to use dynamic (DHCP) addresses.

You are trying to open the NAT on the router for X-box. For this you will need to reduce the MTU settings on the router to 1365. You will also need to trigger some ports on the router. For this you will need to open the router set up page. Router set up page is the page where you can change the settings of the router
