There is a reset button on the back of the router. You have to press it in for about 10 seconds. (While the router is on) This will reset the router to default settings. You will lose all security, and your network will be "Open". ok, WEP, WPA and PSK are all wi-fi security protocols. They are designed to restrict access to your wi-fi. I would not by pass them.

Can't use a router as a repeater in a wireless sense. You could set it to AP mode and run an ethernet cable from a lan port on your other router to the WAN/uplink port on the Zyxel. If it doesn't have AP mode then you could have it in gateway mode run have a different subnet on the Zyxel with DHCP.

Log in to your NETGEAR router by browsing to http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. Enter the username (admin) and password. By default, the password is password or 1234 unless it has already been changed. If you cannot log into your router: Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. however, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings. If it is not visible, you can change your wireless passphrase; however, changing the passphrase will cause you to lose your wireless connection. Can you check the Zyxel site for the latest firmware? Try NAT type 2 if an option.

MY only solution was reset my i-pod touch, and after reset it's working very well my Wi-Fi.

To reset your i-pod touch just go to settings
you will find reset button.

Alternately, check your router to see if it actually sees the i-pod.

Try re-synching your i-pod.

Also try resetting your router with the i-pod off then after router resets turn i-pod back on. Should find then..

If you lost your password to access the router's web interface, then a hard-reset is the only thing you can do. That said, it will configure the router to factory condition. If your ISP requires particular authentication (like a member ID and network password for DSL), then this information WILL need to be re-entered. If your ISP does not require that configuration, then nothing would need to be configured after the hard-reset. Before moving ahead, it may be a good idea to contact the ISP to understand configuration requirements.

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password.
