The unit looses internet connection

Generally this is a common sympton of any brand of wifi router over about a year or so old. The wifi section is in the process of failing. It will loose the connection more and more and then the wifi portion of the router will no longer work. I have a pile of various brands that displayed these symptoms before they stopped working.

What you need to do is replace the router. We have had better results with D-Link and NetGear wifi routers. Linksys seems to be the worst one right now. This is unfortunetly a common failure in non-commercial grade wifi routers. So the best advice is to check for a sale on the dlink or netgear and replace it. It will save you a lot of headache and frustration.

I have a wireless network

Well, you need to scan for the wireless network and enter the correct WEP key on your Roku. Please disable MAC address filtering on the ZOOM router and check if you can connect to wireless network on ROKU.
Let me know if you need any further help.

IPOD Touch asks for password; password unknown

To configure your router, open your web browser. Type the default IP address (http://10.0.0.2) into the Location field of your browser and press the Enter key. A Login screen will appear. Use the below to log into your router.

The default user name is admin
The default password is zoomadsl

You click on the icon labeled Wireless at the top of the screen.

Set the Wireless status drop down menu to Enable
The SSID will be set to zoom by default. You probably want to change that since everybody will know this type of network.

You can Hide the SSID if you would like by choosing True on the Hide SSID option. This will make it harder for people to know how to connect to your network. Just remember that you will not be able to see this as well.

Under the Encryption you will need to pick your Encryption type. If you pick WEP-64 bit then you will want to click the Passphrase box and place your passphrase and have it generate a random key. If the Default Key is set to 1 then you would use the Key1 key. Make sure you click on the Save Changes so that it keeps these setting.s

Hope that helps!

I cannot get my zoom 6 router to work with windows

If you are trying to connect to the wireless network, then first you should know all the wireless settings of the router ( SSID , Security key or password).

If you don't the wireless settings of the router , then you will need to access the router set up interface.
On the set up page of the router you will be able to find the wireless settings of the router.
Once you have the wireless settings of the router then you just need to connect to the wireless network on your computer.

WINDOWS VISTA/ Windows 7

In case of windows You will find 2 computer icon in the bottom right hand corner.Right click on it and go to the option " Network and Sharing center ". Once you open the network and sharing center you will find the option " connect to the network " in the top left hand side. Click On connect to the network and you will see the wireless network that you want to connect. If it secured network then type the network key or passphrase and you will be able to connect.
If you get the message " additional log on information required " then you will need to add the wireless network manually.
If you get the message " settings saved on this computer do not match ..." then you will need to remove the network from the preferred network list. Try to connect again.
If you get the message " Press the configuration button ..." , On the same window at the bottom you will find the option " I want to enter the key manually " or " I don't want to configure the network ..." Click On it and it will ask you for the key.
If you see " Enter PIN number " , then at the bottom you will find the option " I want to enter the key manually " or " I don't want to configure the network ..." Click On it and it will ask you for the key.

Where would i find my wireless key code so i can

The wireless key is whatever you want it to be, within the charater range A-Z, 0-9, and normally up to 64 charaters long.

You enter your chosen key under the configuartion settings of your wireless router, then enter the exact same key in to the PC which you want to connect wirelessly. Exactly how you do this depends on how your PC is managing it's wireless connections. In the majority of cases, it will be your Operating System (e.g. Windows) which, if your wireless adapter is enabled, will detect your wireless router shortly after boot-up and offer you the option to connect. This is when you enter the same key you set on your router.

Your router handbook should show you how to change its configuartion settings, as would your PC handbook.
If you dont have these, and it all sounds a bit complicated, can you ask an IT savvy friend to help ?

How do i conet to all my game cosoles

You need to purchase some "Ethernet Cords", these come in different categories of quality, ranging in price. Because of your router I would recommend that you purchase Category 5E also known as Cat 5E.
Before you purchase this cable though, you want to measure out how long you need each cable, to ensure you purchase enough to get the job done, and as well as allowing slack in the cable for instance if you want to hide the cables in the ceiling to make it look nicer, allow about 5 ft more then you think it will need. You can purchase Category 5E cables online here.
Another possible solution for you to connect to all of your game consoles would be purchasing separate wireless adapters per device, but that method isn't as cost friendly. For instance, the wireless adapter for the Xbox 360 is $99.99 from Microsoft here.

If this did not solve your problem, please leave a comment and I'll get back to it as soon as I can =)
