I cannot get my videos to load onto my pc lost the manual

You will need a program to do it such as Pinnacle Studio and a cable. I believe your computer has a DV or firewire cable for it. Once it is plugged into your computer and the camcorder is turned on, your video editing software should load up and allow you to transfer the video to your computer.

Driver are not needed for Windows XP or Vista. They are already built into the operating system.

I cant plug my jvc to my tv

I am assuming that you have an AV cable which you need to have connected to your camcorder at the AV output socket, and the other end should have RCA phono plugs (one red, one white and one yellow) which usually connect to three corresponding sockets on the front or side of most modern TV sets, these may be inside a front panel which opens. Once connected, you need to select the appropriate AV input on your TV remote, very often this will be "Front AV" or AV3 or AV4, you need to check your TV instruction manual to be sure of which input is required for your specific model of TV...hope that helps!

Purchasing firewire usually solves all problems when it comes to uploading video to PC or anything. only problem with firewire is it takes over your internet. but that's one of the things I use with my camcorder and it works wonders

Error Code FF023005 When attempting to burn DVD

I had the same problem until last night. I hooked up the camcorder with the power supply and the USB to the PC and when the window on the camera gave me several options, I chose the "Plaback on PC" option - first option on my camera. The Power Cinema NE for Everio program will probably open. Close out of that and go to my computer and double click on the drive that shows your Everio camera. you should see 4 folders. Your video is in the SD_Video folder (probably a folder named PRG001). You can double click it to open and make sure. If it is, go back and right click on SD_Video and click copy. Minimize the window and paste it somewhere (obviosuly a blank area) on your desktop. Then go to your programs and open the Cyberlink Power Director program that was installed with the software that came with the camera. Then just add your files from the desktop and make sure they are in the pane on the right side of the screen. When you have everything you want in that right window, click produce and set your settings, speed, etc., and off you go. Mine took about 15 minutes to copy to a disk. Good luck. Hope it works.

Power problem

Your battery is probabily uncharged or disconnected. Try taking the battery out and putting it back in. Then charge it (by plugging in the AC adapter) until the green activity light stops flashing. If this does not work, your battery is probabily dead. Did you short it out? Or perhaps it is old. Li-Ion batteries (the kind used in these machines) lose their ability to hold their charge in a few years - even if they're not in use! So, if your battery is 3 or more years old, try considering a new battery.

Watching my recordings on tv

there should be a pair of rca (red, white, yellow) wires that came with the camcorder.....if you cant find those try going to radioshack or a nearby electronics place and tell them what you need to do and they will get you what you need. now for watching them on your tv....if you tv has the rca inputs usually attached to front of tv you can plug it in right there and switch the tv over to another input like video 1,2,etc sometimes it will say "line" instead of video.

contact me if you have a questions

Uploading problem

So after a little digging around I might have a solution for you. Use this program (Super) to convert your files into Windows Media Video (.wmv) files and Movie Maker should be able to handle them.

Power not on or USB device not compatible

Hi, I think your battery is 100% OK, if the power supply is perfect there may be problem with the switch, clean it with contact cleaner spray often press the switch several times. if the switch contacts are not connecting, this will help it to clear it. open the cam, check the power supply on the main board, there is a small fuse on the circuit board test it with. eventually we have to suspect the mother board. if so should change it.

I can not access the menu on my jvc everio gz-mz37u to reformat the hard drive and HDD error is still showing, please help.

Hi, first of all my advice is: if you keep any electronics devices without usage for a long period, you must detach the battery/power supply. in this case I think the hard disk may be faulty, if you can open the camera and takeout the HDD connect with an HDD dock connect the dock to your system, in normal condition your computer will detect the hard disk, if so you can save the contents to your computer or you can format it, if it is not detecting your computer it means the HDD is physically damage. please change it.
