WONT HOLD DATE/TIME, KEEPS REQUESTING TO RESET!
Hi there, been playing around trying to get camera going,as i took apart (easy enough, if you can handle a watch repair screwdriver) what i did find seems to be a standard watch battery located bottom left next to speaker. Pretty sure if you replace this, it should solve your problem. Just be carefull when taking out ribbon cable!
Cheers Greg.
How to load pictures on to computer
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa (

5 megapixels or more. In general, unless you're really tight on space or know you're not going to need the resolution, set your camera to its highest resolution (8 megapixels in your case) and leave it there. You can always make a large picture smaller; you can't make a small picture larger.See page 13 of the Cyber-shot handbook:
