How do i download pictures using this camera?
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Can i get back pictures i deleted accidently?
It's no problem at all to get them back. Do not take any more pictures, and remove the card from the camera to lessen the chance of you overwriting some important pictures or videos. There are VERY many freeware software options available to help you recover your files. Please see
this blog article that reviews several of the better freeware recovery programs that you can download. You may need to use a card reader with these programs though.
All the download links listed in the article are available through CNET. This was to primarily ensure through CNET's verification process that these would be malware free software, and to also give you a chance to read user reviews on the software before downloading.

First, make sure the batteries are fresh and installed correctly. Turn on the camera, if you get an opening screen, your camera should be OK. Press the menu button and navigate to screen options where you should be able to turn on the screen to take pictures.
If there is no opening screen when you turn on the camera (and you are sure the batteries are good and in properly), then try to take some pictures without the screen. If the camera takes good pictures, then the screen is dead. You can continu to take pictures with it in this condition. I do not think they are worth fixing, though.
If the camera does not take good pictures or no pictures then the camera has failed or dead. Your best solution is to replace the camera with a newer, better one, More pixels, greater optical zoom, quicker start time and so on.
