Okay I'm trying to take a picture with my camera

Surely the warranty is longer than 3 months. Try taking it back and don't come home with another Sanyo.

How can i fix a sanyo VPC-E870 screen by myself'

THE SCREEN YOU REFER TO IS ACTUALLY PART OF A UNIT CALLED THE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND HAS TO BE REPLACED AS A UNIT. FINDING THE PART WILL BE VERY HARD AND CHANGING IT IS A VERY TECH HEAVY JOB! YOU'RE TALKING MICRO CIRCUITS AND TINY PARTS. PLUS, WHEN THEY BUILD THESE CAMERAS, THEY REALLY DON'T EVER PLAN TO OPEN THEM UP AGAIN TO "FIX THINGS" IF YOU GET THE IDEA. I KNOW THIS DOESN'T HELP, BUT THERE ARE PLACES THAT WILL FIX THIS, BUT THE COST IS STEEP AND YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE WITHOUT YOUR CAMERA FOR AT LEAST A MONTH OR MORE, BECAUSE THEY FARM IT OUT ALSO TO AN OVERSEA REPAIR UNIT, MOST LIKELY. SO, IF MONEY IS IMPORTANT, THE BEST OPTION IS SPRING FOR A NEW CAMERA. SORRY, BUT I HATE TO SEE YOU SPEND LOTS OF MONEY ON A REPAIR LIKE THIS.

I have a sanyo S7

There is not a lot that you can do with this. If it is new, take it back. If it is old you may want to consider a new camera. The issue is that there is only two things that you can do, change the batteries and the sd card. If you are using lithium batteries and a still get this error then it is not the batteries. If you have the card out and get the error then it is not the card. When you turn the unit on the system checks itself to see if everything is okay and it gets feedback from the processor and the light senser. The lans also sends info on its ability to focus. If it not able to complete all these then you get the error. The camera could be sent in for repairs but it might be more than a new camera.

The battery is fully changed but itwill not turn on.

Here we don't have much to work with.
If there is no power to the camera when you press the on button or switch, then there is nothing that can be done, and the camera needs repair.
Some back ground would help. How was the camera handled? Did it ever have an impact to the lens or has it been dropped. Was it exposed to any water?
I think it may be time to consider getting a new camera and sell this on a site such as Ebay as a repair, as is, or parts.

Lens error 0x04010000

If you could give a little more information.
What is the camera?
Does it turn on at all?
Has it been impacted in some way?
Did it receive water damage?
Any lens error means there is a problem with the lens.. something inside could be broken, some cable or wire could be disconnected, something could have burned out (such as the motor), and so on.
The lens has sensors connected to the processor in the camera's circuit. The sensors usually tell the processor that something is wrong with the tracking, motor, and so on. If the lens cannot be connected at all to the processor.
In any case, the cost to fix this may be beyond what you want to spend.
My suggestion... put it up for sale on a site such as Ebay for parts/ as is/ repair.

Took photos and the memory card was loose and did not retain them

You can transfer the photos from your camera memory to a folder on your desktop, then you go to my computer, click on the camera icon (removeable drive) then choose the dcim folder and drag the files that you copied to your desktop onto the memory card

Lost all my pics on card what do i do ?? Help

Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos (or else you may start overwriting some of them), take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for:

http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/recovering-those-accidentally-lost.html

You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're cheap:

Cant review pics on camera or computer, but camera says card is full

This occassionally happens with memory cards formatted using FAT. The simplest way for you to get the pics of the card when such a thing happens is to get a card reader. Pop the card in to the card reader, connect it to your PC and transfer the pics. Then format it using FAT32. I have noticed that my card was a lot more reliable in saving pics compared to FAT.

Put computer pics back on camera?

Hello,

One very easy method is to find the picture you want back on the camera. Right click on the picture and select COPY. Then double click on "my computer" and locate your camera. Double click on the camera and it should open up the memory card. Click through the folders until you find the pile of images. Right click in the "free space" and select paste. You may need to rename the imaghe once it's there but, that will atleast get the image back on the camera.

Hope this helps, Let me know if you need anything else.

I cannot see images of pictures taken on my camera

Hi!

There are a lot of recovery software that you can use to recover deleted files - specially pictures. You can try to use Zero Assumption Recovery. You can download the software at this site:
http://www.z-a-recovery.com/download.htm

It's a free software (you do not neet to pay to use this), and it's easy to use.

Here are the steps that you need to do:
1.) After you install this software, connect your camera or memory card to your PC . Open the Zero Assumption Recovery software.

2.) Click Next. Select "Recover images from the digital camera.." and click Next again.

3.) Select the Physical Device - select your camera or memory card , click Next. [grab a cup of coffee since retrieving the files may take some time depending on the size of the memory (",) ]

4.) After retrieving the files - select all the files that can be recovered. Click Next.

5.) Select the button on the right side (close to Destination) and select where you want to save the files. Click "Start recovering files".

That's it.

I hope that helps.

Good luck and have a nice day!
