You will need an external card reader to do this. Assuming you have one on hand or have a card reader built into your computer; just take out the memory card from the camera and plug it into the external reader. Your computer will present you with options on how to transfer your photos.

The ribbon connector to the main board may be loose, or you could have a faulty CCD, or associated circuitry. You can disassemble the camera and reset the connector, but aside from that, the unit will have to be serviced.

How to dismantle a nikon l15 case and to replace
I dont have an exact guide but there should be 5 screws to remove to take the camera apart. There is either 4 screws holding the lcd in place or 3 plastic clips. gently remove the ribbon cable that is attached to the lcd from the main board. Its actually pretty easy to to do. just becareful on not hitting any sensors. If you get stuck anywhere or cant find a screw let me know and ill try taking mine apart again and we can go from there. Lens won't close
Try jiggling the lens. Use compressed air to blow out any grit around the lens barrel. If that doesn't do it, you'll need to get the camera serviced.

I'm sure that this is not the news that you want, but you have likely damaged the lens tube (housing) or knocked the zoom mechanism off its track. Either way, there is no DIY fix -- your camera will need professional repair.
